- Papa Vaka - This site showcases petroglyphs, all depicting the sea and its associated legends.
- Anakena Beach - This beach is a well-protected bay with white sand encircling archaeological sites. Three volcanic hills border the southern and eastern sides. Anakena is famed as the legendary landing site of the first Polynesian settlers. Swimming is allowed, and changing rooms and services are available for US$1.
