The Rapa Nui Stargazing Experience
Ahu Nau Nau - The tour begins with a meeting in town, followed by a visit near Anakena beach. Here, participants will enjoy a discussion on Polynesian navigation methods and an overview of the night sky, along with telescope viewing and a coffee break. Afterwards, the group will proceed to Anakena for photography. Photos will be emailed within approximately 5 days, due to the island’s slow internet.
The tour lasts about 3 hours, including transportation back to your accommodation.
Astrophotography in Easter Island
Ahu Tongariki - Known as the largest moai platform in Rapa Nui, this site is perfect for capturing photos at sunrise or during the night. Alternatively, Ahu Anakena can be visited instead of Tongariki. Please note that the National Park ticket is not included (costing $80 per person) and must be purchased online prior to the tour.

Designed for passionate photographers and enthusiasts, our photography tours are crafted to capture the best light at optimal times. While Astrophotography is a popular choice, we also offer day photo tours that start before sunrise and continue until mid-morning, or begin in the afternoon and conclude at sunset.
Participants will be accompanied by a knowledgeable guide who can share insights about the island’s history, though the primary focus remains on photography.
Both Anakena and Ahu Tongariki are available for Stars to Sunrise tours, with additional locations included in Day Photo tours.
