Meeting point is at 9am... - Meeting point is at 9am at the church in Valladolid (or they can pick you up at your hotel, you just need to let them know). First stop is a cenote. $130 pesos for a lifejacket & for a locker (total). Lifejackets are mandatory. You can leave your stuff on the bus and just take your towel, phone, & $$ (in one of those plastic phone thingies - you shouldn't need a locker). Second stop is a Mayan experience with a cleansing and shopping. Then they'll link you up with a bigger tour bus (same company). Third stop is another cenote with buffet. Buffet was good & cenote is nice. You'll have about 2 hours there. Eat fast so you can do both, lol! The other people had the all drink package included, I didn't see that as an option for pick up in Valladolid, but with the amount of drinks they were getting - I think it's worth it. And finally Chichen Itza - it says it closes at 5, but they started kicking us out at 4:30. Do the tour with the explanation, then go see the various ruins - then the selfies / shopping. The locals will overpriced everything & as they are closing up shop (4:40 ish) they'll go lower on the prices - especially if you speak Spanish. Overall - in my opinion, it was totally worth it 😀

Good. - Wonderful trip, the price was fine, the transport too. Too bad about the too long stopover at the shops therefore shorter at the cynotes. Also a pity that we had to join an already existing group so we were not on the bus together.

Unorganised Chaos - Unorganised chaos. 3 cenotes (only took us to 1)/ mayan village / buffet / chichen itza Joined a bigger group at the mayan gift store. They only took us to 1 cenote which had the buffet basically a water park. Lifejackets and lockers are additional charge at 100mxn each. Buffet was horrible, worst tacos we had in mexico. Cenote was nice but only one hour. Mayan village is the tour operators gift store. Overpriced and unnecessary, basically built to milk tourists of their money selling souvenirs at 5x the price they will find at the next stop. Chichen itza was good because of the english speaking guide. This is why it doesnt get 1/5. Souvenir sellers throughout the site you can bargain with. After that they took us to Valladolid where the tour ended. The first cenote was supposedly closed so they gave us free drinks which we didnt really care for. They didnt take us to the final cenote that was listed. Worth only if you have a discount code and dont mind bad food. Go with low expectations.
