Lovely experience! - We had a very good experience with the normal bicycles we rent from Doyoubike rental in Valencia. The bikes were very good prepared and the staff was super friendly. We made a trip of about 3,5 hours to the south and north of the city and experienced it very positive!

The best nice guy in Valencia if you need a bike - This business does not yet have a name but will be called “The Green Bike” It is located at 52 carrer del Centelles at 46004 Ruzafa ( 7 minutes from Valencia North Station). Its owner is Julio Caesar . I arrived in Valencia at the beginning of January determined to rent by bike for my travels throughout my month of freedom. I had inquired a little about Valenbici (rental system set up by the city) and was not convinced by this solution despite the attractive price. Rental is cheap but you have to pay a deposit, the bikes are very heavy and the terminals empty or full depending on the places and times. Arriving in the Ruzafa neighborhood for a month, I found a lot of bike rental but the prices are far from modest. By chance, I found around the corner this little bike shop that seemed like an opportunity and went back. I asked the person present if he rented bikes and he said that in principle he sold or repaired them, but that if it could help me.... The price we agreed was equivalent to the price of renting two days at another rental business. Another solution would have been to buy him a second-hand bike for about 100 € but I did not have the use and renting remained the most economical solution. Julio handed me a padlock to which I lost the key a few days later and his reaction was to give me another padlock. I made a commitment to recopy the lost key with the duplicate he had and almost had to insist. The few times I met customers in his store, this “best nice guy” was also available, pleasant and at the service with each potential customer who returned home. In fact, what seems important to him is to find the solution that suits each person who addresses him. This is quite rare and worth highlighting. In precipio Julio Caesar is a repairman and a seller of Bicis de segunda mano, pero es mucho más.

Perfect day of cycling in Valencia - Really enjoyed a great day cycling in Valencia. Really comfortable bikes for a family of four with 2 teenagers. We all ha fantastic day and saw amazing sights in Valencia. Highly recommend this rental company, all do easy and helpful staff.

Great place to rent a bike. Be sure to be completely comfortable on your bike before leaving the shop - Convenient location and great staff (thank you, Elio and coworkers!) and easy check out and return. Be sure the bike is comfortable for you before leaving the shop, and ignore the owner's impatience. Is the seat low enough for you? I had to bring a bike back after a day's riding it, as it was shaky. The owner seemed to doubt me. I have a bike and ride every day at home! I know what is a safe bike and it is important to feel safe in a new city with intrepid bikers and folks on scooters all sharing the same narrow lanes! Valencia is an excellent biking city with a huge network of bike lanes and the gorgeous not-to-be-missed Turia Park. The city must be experienced on a bicycle and this is a great place to start.

Never again - Be cautious with this rental shop. We had rented bikes from DOYOUBIKE several times in the past without issues, often bringing friends along. This time, however, we had a very disappointing experience. We rented four bikes and were offered insurance, but the staff member told us it wasn’t really necessary — they said the deposit of €50 would be kept in case of theft. Based on that information, we declined the insurance. Unfortunately, one bike was stolen (the lock was cut). We returned with the key and the damaged lock, only to be told we now had to pay €300. The employee said thefts are very common and that we should have taken the insurance — information we were not given beforehand. In the end, we paid €300 for a rental bike that likely costs much less, and the staff was quite unfriendly throughout the process. I would not rent here again. If you do, make sure to ask very clearly about their theft policy and consider the insurance, as the information they give at pickup may not match the reality.
