Do yourself a favor and book this tour NOW! - We cannot say enough good things about this experience! Would 100% recommend it to other travelers! Daniel and Michele were so wonderful! We learned an incredible amount not just about the paella itself, but also Valencia and region as a whole. Seriously, the food and drinks were REALLY tasty, but the conversation was even better!

Great Cooking Class with Excellent Hosts - Outstanding experience. Juan and Michelle were terrific hosts. Juan took us on a little tour through Valencia pointing out things to come see later before reaching the Central Market. He said it was large and wonderful and easily could have hyped it up more. A truly wonderful place to visit and shop for a few key ingredients. When we arrived to cook, Michelle greeted us with Cava and some snacks. She told us about the wines we would drink while we cooked and ate. She was very knowledgable and had great anecdotes. We then entered the kitchen to learn the secrets of paella. What a treat that was. Juan is a great teacher and clearly loves to talk paella. He gave us advice on what to use at home (including that garlic is cheating in Valencia’s paella) and where to find a good paella pan. The food was delicious and paired well with the wine. Dessert was a wonderfully light orange cake that was terrific with the Mistela.

Best cooking class I’ve ever been - I gave this Paella class to my husband as a gift, and he absolutely LOVED it — he was genuinely thrilled. We started with a visit to the Central Market, where we were told so much about the market itself, where to buy the best ingredients, and even learned a lot about the history of Valencia’s city center. That alone was an amazing experience. Then we cooked an incredibly delicious paella, learned an authentic recipe, discovered so many details about wine, and spent an absolutely wonderful time with the chef. Daniel is truly passionate about what he does, and you can feel how much he loves his craft. That passion makes the whole experience very warm, soulful, and special. Highly, highly recommended 🤍
