The Huilo Huilo Biological Reserve has been recognized as a Biosphere Heritage by UNESCO, consolidating itself as a priority conservation area for native forests worldwide. In this fascinating destination, you will have the opportunity to discover the Hotel Montaña Mágica, which has been hailed by many visitors as one of the most beautiful hotels in the world. In addition, you can visit three impressive waterfalls: Huilo Huilo, Llallalca and Leona. The tour also includes a visit to the Volcano Museum, the Red Deer and Wild Boar breeding grounds, as well as the exploration of a Volcanic Cavern.

Great day out if you have a spare day in Valdivia - We enjoyed our full day tour to the Huilo Huilo nature reserve, although it is a very long day with collection between 07:30-08:00 and return between 21:30-22:00.
The first stop was at the lake at Panguipulli after a couple of hours driving. The view was beautiful in the morning sunshine with the Villarrica volcanoes majestic in the background.
The four stops at different portals within the Huilo Huilo reserve (two before lunch and two after) provided some nice light trekking accompanied by lovely explanations of the flora and fauna of the region from our guide. If you want to enjoy walking behind the waterfall at the first stop, you will need to take a full change of clothes, but there are changing rooms available.
Lunch was filling.
A great and very well-organised day out although the 3 hour drive home at the end of a long day seemed long!

Divine hiking - Woooo our visit to Huilo Huilo for my beloved husband and I , it was dreamy we had never walked a path and the truth is magical, we feel so connected with the divine Nature that by breathing such pure air we feel free happyzzz and begins our tour of wonderful paths that shows us beauty , sounds , aromas, and it is very important to have a very good guide and that this so connected and committed to everyone is then that happiness by connecting with the sounds of birds the trees and so many divine species that you do not realize that you , already part of the path... Thank you Jesus for so much.

Tour Thermal Huilo Huilo - An excellent tour, beautiful scenery, very good driver and guide that touched us, the very professional company, we could not do one of the tours that we had scheduled for reasons outside of us and we were given 100% back of said tour. A 7.
The lunch stop was express we would have liked to visit some craft fair.

Excellent experience - Very good trip, the guide Felipe knows a lot and makes the trip very entertaining. Multiple stops, beautiful places, many must-see places in 1 day. Very good lunch too! Recommended 100%.

Recommended tour - Very good experience to meet for the first time a place, the full day full of jaded activities, and jaded nature. The guide Andrés was reporting everything we saw, very complete the tour.

Visit Huillo Huillo. A very interesting tour! 🙂 - An interesting experience in terms of biodiversity, for Brazilians like us, accustomed to the Atlantic Forest and the imposing Amazon Forest.
We made the land tour to the Huillo Huillo reserve. Here is what they call the "valdivian jungle" and understood that for Chilians it is a place of extreme natural exuberance.
Our tour started from Valdivia, lasted 14 hours, we visited 4 trails, there were stops in Panguipulli, and in the final in Puerto Fuy. Lunch included in Neltume.
The driver Ricardo was great and the guide Matilde very attentive. A very efficient double! We will carry misses and good memories. With the agency Guia de Los Rios.

Huilo Huilo lives...just a wonderful experience! - Punctual for retreat at home, guide with a lot of knowledge, friendly, playful, you can see your experience. Beautiful places to visit once and a thousand times, good restaurant, rich lunch food. If you go in the summer period take a change of clothes so that you can live the experience of going under the waterfall Llallalca, it is something you must live!. You walk a lot, but every step is worth it. Tour fully recommended!

A family-friendly excursion with beautiful scenery - It was very versatile, the waterfalls, the forest and the museum were impressive.The guide was friendly, the stories interesting. It is for many age groups. I think the walks and paths are too difficult for the elderly. My daughter and I felt very comfortable and the scenery and culture is breathtakingly beautiful.
