Magnificient day in Valdez - We did the cruise on 9th June and although the weather was not cooperating, we still had a great day and learned a lot. Check in: very smooth and quick Boat: our boat was not fully booked but even if the boat if fully booked I am sure there is plenty of place to move around both inside and out Crew: excellent and friendly crew - captain Glenn did talk just enough and very clear to understand - we did learn so much about Valdez, the oil industry, the animals, local life, the weather...In Alaska the tour guides are often people from all over de US and it felt good to hear from people who actually live here Meal and drinks: great soup - free coffee and tea during the tour Glacier: Although we could not get very close to the glacier due to the amount of ice, it was a great experience, seeing all the icebergs in different shapes. On 11th June we did the Kenai Fjords tour and as mentioned before by others, both are totally different. In Seward we got the get much closer to the glacier itself, in Valdez we had the icebergs. If we return to Valdez I am pretty sure we would do the boat tour again.

Fabulous - The crew and trip was fabulous. We saw such a variety of wildlife; sea otter, harbour seals, bald eagles, puffins, mountain goat and last, but far from least, a humpback whale. The captain Kalab maneuvered perfectly through an ice field to get us a fantastic view of the glacier. A great day, highly recommend.

Incredible day on the water - The staff were wonderful - friendly and accommodating. The captain found us a bald eagle, sea otters and lions, tuffed puffin birds and whales! Let alone getting so close to the Columbia Glacier. It was an incredible experience and their boat was clean, well taken care of, and very comfortable. Highly recommend it.
