Embark on a 6-7-hour tour to explore the Echmiadzin Mother Cathedral from the outside, the principal cathedral of the Armenian Apostolic Church and the world’s first Christian cathedral. This site is recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Additionally, visit the churches of St. Gayane and St. Hripsime, two of the three churches in Echmiadzin dedicated to the Christian women martyrs who fled Rome with their abbess, Gayane. Both churches are also UNESCO World Heritage Sites. The tour concludes at Zvartnots, the medieval temple of St. Gregory, constructed in the 7th century. Once one of the tallest structures of its time, standing at 45-49 meters, the ruins of this temple can still be seen today in Zvartnots, another UNESCO World Heritage Site. The tour also includes a visit to the Sardarapat Memorial sculptural complex and the Ethnographic and Military Museums.
