- Saint Hripsime Church - Saint Hripsime Church is a seventh-century Armenian Apostolic church located in the city of Vagharshapat. It stands as one of the oldest surviving churches in Armenia. The church was constructed by Catholicos Komitas to replace the original mausoleum built by Catholicos Sahak the Great in 395 AD, which housed the remains of the martyred Saint Hripsime, to whom the church is dedicated. The current structure was completed in 618 AD and is renowned for its exquisite Armenian-style architecture from the classical period, which has influenced numerous other Armenian churches. In 2000, it was designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site along with other nearby churches, including Etchmiadzin Cathedral, the mother church of Armenia.
- Zvartnots Temple - Zvartnots Cathedral is a 7th-century centrally planned aisled tetraconch type Armenian cathedral, constructed under the direction of Catholicos Nerses the Builder between 643-652. Although now in ruins, it is situated on the outskirts of the city of Vagharshapat (Etchmiadzin) in the Armavir Province of Armenia.
- Echmiadzin Monastery - The Etchmiadzin Cathedral, the mother cathedral of the Armenian Apostolic Church, is located in Vagharshapat (Ejmiatsin), Armenia. The original church was constructed in the early fourth century—between 301 and 303 according to tradition—by Armenia’s patron saint, Gregory the Illuminator, following the adoption of Christianity as the state religion by King Tiridates III.
- Alex and Marie Manoogian Treasury House Museum - The “Treasury of Echmiadzin” museum, designed by architect Baghdasar Arzumanyan, opened to the public on October 11, 1982. This treasury-museum is a remarkable example of incorporating new and unique elements into classical Armenian architecture. Named after philanthropists and art patrons Alec and Maria Manukyans, whose generous donations made this project possible, the museum also serves as their final resting place, with their bodies interred in the courtyard.
