Plantation and swamp tour - The plantation is beautiful! The tour guide, Marcus did a wonderful job explaining the history of the house. Transportation was prompt. The ride to the plantation was long but interesting. It would have been nice to have longer at the plantation so that we could have explored more and had a sit down lunch in the restaurant. The swamp tour was amazing! Captain Be Bop is a true steward of the swamp. His knowledge of the flora and fauna was vast. He put us all at ease and made the tour very enjoyable.

Realize that you won’t... - Realize that you won’t have any time after the house tour so you have to see everything else before you go into the house. The grounds are magical. Remember that the front oak alley is opposite the slave quarters. The whole experience was educational and I wish we had more time.

A Have Too Do Tour - The Oak Alley and Swamp Tour were great. The guides were knowledgeable on the subjects and love the history. Our driver was great. He gave us insight on the areas to and from the destinations.

Great full day excursion! - Great excursion! Originally I booked with another company but saw that we had a little bit of a walk to the meeting spot so I rebooked with this company instead - pick up was right on time at our hotel and off we went to Oak Alley, which was a sugar plantation. We had enough time to do the house tour, view slave cabin exhibits, get some lunch and shop for souvenirs. This was the 3rd plantation I've been to, and while the oaks were absolutely breathtaking, the grounds were not as extensive as Mt Vernon in Virginia or Magnolia in Charleston - both those places you can spend a whole day bc there was so much to see. By comparison this was much much smaller. The next stop was the swamp tour - it was a blustery day so not much wildlife out except for various birds (bald eagle, heron, etc) and one small alligator. The highlight was Capt. Bobby (who was great) showing us his pet baby alligator and giving us all a chance to hold him and take pics! We also got to peek in the bayou which this tour company took Disney sketch artists to for Princess and the Frog inspiration! Lovely full day excursion and well organized - highly recommend!

New Orleans - The whole experience along with the guides was excellent the guides are very knowledgeable. I couldn’t give it a 5 star review because the driver was extremely rude and yelled at me when I was trying to figure out if we were getting on the right bus. He was rude to the other passengers getting on as well. I had never been yelled at or treated in such a demeaning way in my life! I’d say I would recommend it but hopefully you get a good driver.

Plantation and Swamp Tour - I did this trip as a solo female traveller, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Pick up from the hotel is convenient and on time; the ride was fun: the driver shared with us diverse information from his experience growing up in Louisiana, and he also showed us a few other plantations as we drove by. The bus and the boat comfortably accommodated all of us, so it did not get too crowded at any point of the day. I did both the plantation and the swamp tour, which was a full day of exploring. However, there was no food included; I had to buy something to eat from the restaurant on the plantation (the food was good, but I just wish there were some sacks included in the price we paid). I absolutely loved the plantation tour, and the swamp tour was also fun, so I totally recommend this trip. However, some downsides, as experienced by me, were the fact that 1) there were no snacks included in the price we paid, 2) the fact that our bus broke down while we were going to the plantation and we had to wait half an hour on the side of the highway, and 3) the fact that I initially wanted to do the 10:30 am trip, but one day before it, I was called by the booking agent and informed that I was the only one taking it, and so I had to take one at 8:15 am (so, you mught need to be flexible with your traveling plans). Overall, I do recommend this trip, but be aware that some things might not go as planned, and that you might need to pack a bit of food.

pretty good - Overall, it was pretty good. But the content about Oak Alley Plantation seems incomplete; it does not provide a detailed introduction to the slaves' quarters.

Very good for visits but without translation - I only put 3 stars because no translation otherwise lacks communication, meeting place not materialized which is disturbing when the bus is 1/2 hour late which was our case. We thought there was an error in the address of the RV point and we were about to leave not knowing what else to do

Drop off terrible - Tour was great ! Pick up and transfers were wonderful. Drop off was horrible!!!! Our tour operator did not drop us off at our hotel. She said she did not want to sit in traffic. Left us .3 miles from our hotel across a 4 lane street with a disabled 76 year old. Note: Driver said there was a parade … not near us. We walked to our hotel not seeing a parade. She told everyone to get off the bus because she did not want to sit in traffic, Most people were young, but for our disabled mother it was awful.
