A fabulous lesson in culture and pottery - We thoroughly enjoyed our experience with Julia, she shared so much with us about life in Uzbekistan historically and today. It was our first time using a pottery wheel but the teacher was amazing and I love the vase I made! Fabulous food too - I'd thoroughly recommend this experience

Great local experience! - It was like spending a beautiful afternoon with a local friend. I enjoyed every part of the experience: the local market and interesting things about Uzbek culture, the worshop and the food. A super nice experience that I highly reccomend!

Amazing pottery experience - My friends and I had an amazing time learning about textiles and ceramics on this tour and the different symbolism and motifs used. None of us had done pottery before, but the instructor provided guidance and help so we also successfully completed our pieces. The traditional lunch was also wonderful.

A unique, authentic, and heartwarming experience you won’t forget! - We had an amazing experience with the pottery workshop and tour with Usuf and Julia! Everything was so well organized, flowed seamlessly, and we felt completely taken care of from start to finish. Both Usuf and Julia were incredibly welcoming, kind, and knowledgeable. They shared so much insight into the local culture and traditions, and made the whole experience both fun and meaningful. The pottery workshop was especially memorable, we learned so much and had a great time getting hands-on. We totally recommend this activity to anyone visiting Tashkent! It’s a unique, authentic, and heartwarming experience you won’t forget!

Local experience in Tashkent with wonderful guides! - Great experience in Tashkent to learn about local crafts! Julia and Yusuf were the most kind and fun guides! They made us feel immediately welcome and they taught us about the culture of Uzbekistan and showed us all the different kinds of crafts. We saw masters at work and Julia and Yusuf made it a comfortable and fun experience. Making the pottery was so excellent and the potter was helpful to make sure we ended up with a beautiful finished product. I would love to do more tours with these two! Especially the metro and food one! Thank you for a beautiful day with lovely photos to remember it by!

Everything is a unique experience! - I have some experience in knitting and other handicrafts, but very little embroidery experience, and I was really looking forward to learning about traditional embroidery this time. First of all, Susani embroidery is very difficult. He teaches me persistently, but it is not a technique that I can master immediately. That's why I've experienced firsthand how wonderful this traditional craft is. I had a very good time not only because I was able to learn more about the embroidery class but also various other traditional techniques and history. If you are in Japan and would like to join this tour, here is some advice. Meals are shared directly with the guide on one plate. That's the traditional style, so there's no plate. Bear in mind that there are cultural differences, as some Japanese people are not good at eating directly from the same plate as others even before COVID-19. If that is not possible, I think it is better to consult beforehand. I definitely recommend the experience itself because the restaurant is a tourist-free place and it's very good and you can see the making of profiles up close. I don't want people to think negatively about it in any way, but I thought that there must be people who care about it, so I dared to write it.
