Salt Flats on a sunny day in January - A good “set itinerary” tour. The salt flats were amazing on a beautiful day. Our guide Edwardo was excellent! Very professional and tended quickly to everyone’s needs and requests.

Mind blowing - Fantastic experience, especially Isla Incahuasi ❤️. Surreal landscape and lovely to have the journey with not too many people on the flats. Highly recommend 🙌

Wonderful and unique - I scheduled a full day with the Andes Salt agency. They were professional and responsible, they made sure it was a very nice experience. I especially recommend this tour to travelers who have little time, as the agency takes care of you to visit the best places in the Salar.

Stunning location, below average tour and guide - This is a tough one to review. The Uyuni salt flats really are one of a kind. It is otherworldly to spend a day here in the wet season with the mirror effect. That said, the tour was not great. It's not as though you have a lot of choice. Every tour has the same agenda. The problem is that it's all too long. The rail yard is forgettable, the salt maze/statues are an unnecessary stop, and so is the abandoned salt hotel. If I could have found a 3-4 hour tour to just go to the flats and enjoy their beauty for a time, I would have much preferred it. Also, our tour guide was mostly absent. He was the first guide I can recall who never even offered to take a single photo for us. He also disappeared at the rail yard for 45 minutes while we waited in the parking lot for him to return. No apology or indication of where he was. Since it was cloudy, he decided we didn't need any wine, I guess, because he didn't offer it either. Instead, he pushed for us to head back to the office. If you have the cash, I'd suggest a private tour to enjoy the majesty of the flats and skip the touristy stops.
