Enchanted by a starry night - I did the night star tour in the Salar de Uyuni and it was a truly magical experience. Seeing the sky completely clear, with thousands of stars and the Milky Way reflected in the water of the salt flat, is something that cannot be described with words. I felt like I was on another planet.
The guide was very kind and explained several constellations while we took amazing pictures. Also, the tour included blankets for the cold and they helped us with the camera to get good night shots. Of course, it gets very cold at night, so I recommend wearing thermal clothing and gloves.
Although the tour lasts only a few hours, it is totally worth it if you don't have much time in Uyuni. It is a short but unforgettable experience. Highly recommended for nature lovers, photography and tranquility.

Salar Uyuni - In advance a thank you to the agency because thanks to them I lived one of the most magical experiences of my life: the tour of stars in the Salar de Uyuni, we left at night, with the sky totally clear and the cold of the highlands being felt. The guides arrived on time, well equipped with blankets, lights and hot drinks. You could see his experience and professionalism, when they reached the heart of the salt flat, they turned off all the lights. The silence and darkness completely engulfed us. Looking up, the sky seemed to fall on us: the Milky Way, thousands of stars and constellations I had never seen unfolded like an infinite ceiling.
One of the guides used a laser pointer to tell us Andean legends mixed with science. I was doing it so passionately that we all listened in absolute silence. Then they let us contemplate alone. Lying on the salt pan, in that sea of stars reflected in the water, I felt immense peace and a deep connection to the universe.
To close the night, we took photos with long exposure. The reflection of the sky in the wet salt pan made us seem suspended in the cosmos.
The guides were attentive, respectful and warm. Thanks to them, this experience was not only safe, but deeply moving. If you ever get the chance to take this tour, don’t think twice: it’s a direct trip to the soul of heaven.

A full day of magic in the Salar de Uyuni - A full day of magic in the Salar de Uyuni
From the get-go, I knew this day was gonna be special. The travel agency I hired the tour with was punctual and organized from the start. The vehicle was clean, comfortable and perfectly conditioned for the tour. Our guide who spoke excellent English—he was very friendly and clear with each explanation, which made the whole group feel safe and well taken care of.
the way to the salt flat, we were making strategic stops to take photos and enjoy the scenery. The vastness of the salt flat, with its seemingly endless white surface, was simply overwhelming. Every step I took felt like walking on another planet.
One of the most memorable moments was lunch. The agency had prepared a delicious meal, carefully served in the vastness of the salt flat. We were offered quinoa, stir-fried vegetables, grilled chicken and vegetarian options too. Everything was carefully packed, and the team made sure every detail was spotless. We ate at a rustic table placed on the salt pan, surrounded by that infinite white and deep blue sky: it was a unique experience, both for the taste and the environment.
After lunch, we continue exploring until we reach the most anticipated moment: sunset. The guide took us to a strategic location where the water on the surface created a stunning mirror effect. The sky slowly dyed golden, pink and violet, reflecting at our feet as if floating between clouds. They gave us enough time to enjoy, take pictures and just contemplate in silence.
I only have words of appreciation for the travel agency, the guide and the entire team. Their professionalism, warmth and attention to every detail made this day unforgettable. I felt cared for, respected and fully accompanied at every turn. If you ever dream of knowing the Salar de Uyuni, I assure you that living it like this, with such a dedicated team, makes all the difference.
Thank you for giving me a day that I will always have in my heart.

A day at the Salar de Uyuni - A day at the Salar de Uyuni
The first stop was the train cemetery, just outside the village. A desolate and beautiful place at once. Old rusty locomotives were on forgotten rails. Our guide explained that these trains were part of the Bolivian mining boom, but today they are part of the collective imagination and Instagram of each traveler a very Instagrammable place.
Then we visited Colchani, a small town where we learned how locals process sa literally saw the whole process. We saw stacked white mounds, handicrafts made from salt blocks and even a small hotel built entirely of salt. I bought some souvenirs and we went down the road.
When we finally entered the Salar de Uyuni, I felt that we had entered another planet. An infinite white sea stretched in all directions. There was no clear horizon. The sky melted with salt, and at times I didn't know if I looked at the ground or at the exact sky a mirror of sky without exaggerating I recommend it to the maximum
The guide explained how the salt pan was formed, what minerals make it up, and showed us the natural hexagons that are drawn on the dry surface. Then came one of the funniest parts of the day: perspective photos. He helped us pose himself: walking on a water bottle, coming out of a giant can or fighting with a toy dinosaur. We laugh like children.
At noon, lunch was too hungry I loved the food under a blue sky without a single cloud. Lunch was included in the tour: rice, llama meat, salad and fruit, served at a makeshift table in the middle of the salt flat. It was one of the simplest but most memorable meals of my life.
Then we visited Incawuasi Island the veradd I don't remember how it was written, an oasis full of giant cacti in the middle of the salt flat. From its peak, the view was simply indescribable. An immense calm engulfed us.
And then came the most magical part of the day: the sunset. Our guide Luis took us to an area where the water covered the salt like a thin mirror layer. We walked like we were floating in the sky. The reflection was perfect. As the sun began to descend, the sky turned orange, pink and violet. Everything seemed stopped simply magical and unforgettable

A magical experience in the Uyuni Salt Flats! - Everything was super well organized from the start. The tour began with a stop at the Train Cemetery, followed by Colchani, where we saw how salt is processed and picked up some local crafts. But the best part was saved for last — walking on the salt flats at sunset was absolutely unforgettable. The views, the silence, and the sky’s reflection created a surreal, otherworldly landscape.
Our guide was incredibly kind and attentive, which made the whole experience even better. Huge thanks to the agency for such a well-planned and smooth tour. 100% recommended!

An unforgettable day at the impressive Salar de Uyuni - The day tour to the Salar de Uyuni was an experience I'll never forget. From the moment we arrived, the landscape looked like something from another planet. The immensity of the salt flat, the light, the sky, and the reflections created a magical atmosphere.
What really stood out was the professionalism of the guide. Not only was he friendly and punctual, but he also shared many interesting facts about the formation of the salt flat, the local culture, and the best places to take photos. He also constantly checked in on the comfort of the group, which was greatly appreciated.
This tour is very well organized and suitable for different types of people: families with children, couples, seniors, and even solo travelers. The transportation was comfortable, and there were scheduled stops to rest, take photos, and enjoy the scenery.

A Must-Do in Uyuni - I thoroughly enjoyed the all-inclusive one-day tour of the Salar de Uyuni — complete with an English-speaking guide, lunch, and sunset viewing — and it was absolutely flawless. Our guide blended historical insights with local anecdotes in a captivating way; the lunch, served with panoramic views of the salt flats, was delicious and revitalizing; and the sunset over the flats, bathed in golden and pink hues, was an incredible and almost surreal experience. The organization was impeccable, and the service was both warm and professional. A 100% recommended adventure for anyone who loves nature and culture!
