Uyuni - The journey begins with a pick-up from your hotel or the bus terminal in Uyuni, heading to the Train Cemetery, where 19th-century locomotives can be found.
Next, we visit Colchani, a quaint town famous for its salt crafts.
We enter the Salar de Uyuni, witnessing pyramid-shaped salt mounds, the “eyes of salt,” and the Salt Museum, featuring structures made entirely of salt.
We proceed to Incahuasi Island, where a 30-minute walk among towering cacti offers a panoramic view of the salt flats.
Following this, we visit the Dakar Monument, a perfect spot for photography.
Here, a local lunch is enjoyed.
In the afternoon, we explore the area of water mirrors, where the sunset reflects, creating a stunning effect between sky and earth.
The day concludes with a transfer to the hostel for an overnight stay.
Pulacayo Mine and Colonial Church – Cañapa, Hedionda, and Chulluncani Lakes – Town of Uyuni
Salar de Uyuni - The day begins with a pick-up from the hostel at approximately 9:30 a.m. to continue the adventure through the magnificent Salar de Uyuni.
We visit the Pulacayo Mine, once a significant silver and tin mine in Bolivia in 1952, where a guided tour of the small museum and the Colonial Church is provided.
The tour continues with the option to enjoy hot springs and saunas.
A delightful lunch is served along this route.
In the afternoon, we explore at least three highland lagoons, Cañapa, Hedionda, and Chulluncani, known for their unique colors and flamingo presence.
The tour concludes in the town of Uyuni around 6:00 p.m.
