Salar de Uyuni Tour from San Pedro de Atacama

Uyuni - The adventure begins with a pickup from your accommodation at 7:00 a.m. (time may vary based on your hotel). Once everyone is gathered, we will depart from San Pedro de Atacama in a minibus, heading towards the Chile-Bolivia border. After completing the border formalities, we will switch to a 4×4 vehicle accommodating 6 people.

On the first day, we will explore the Bolivian highlands, visiting Laguna Blanca and Laguna Verde, situated at the base of the Licancabur volcano. Our journey continues to the Salvador Dalí desert and the Polques hot springs, where there will be time for a relaxing dip. We will also visit the Sol de Mañana geysers, where water erupts at 90°C.

Our final stop for the day is Laguna Colorada, home to over 30,000 flamingos.

We will spend the first night at a hostel in Villamar.

Valley of Rocks – Laguna Vinto – Anaconda Canyon

Uyuni - On the second day, we will explore the Valley of Rocks, the World Cup, and Lost Italy, where volcanic rock formations resemble an abandoned city.

Next, we will visit El Camello to observe local wildlife, followed by Laguna Misteriosa or Catal, where you can enjoy a walk and discover the typical flora and fauna of the Bolivian Altiplano. We will also visit Laguna Vinto, Mirador, and Cañon de la Anaconda. At the end of the day, we will transfer to the salt hotel in Colcha K for our second night’s stay.

Salar de Uyuni – Incahuasi Island – Colchani

Salar de Uyuni - We will witness the sunrise over the vast salt flats and then travel to Incahuasi Island. Here, a short walk through the limestone formations, featuring giant cacti, offers stunning views of the salt flats.

Following this, we will visit the Salt Museum and exit the salt flats through the village of Colchani, where there will be an opportunity to purchase local handicrafts.

We will then stop at the train cemetery for photos before arriving in Uyuni. In Uyuni, we will bid farewell to our driver-guide, who has been with us for the past three days, and enjoy some free time for lunch and city exploration. Later, we will meet the driver who will take us back, with a stop in Villamar for dinner and rest.

Villamar – San Pedro de Atacama

San Pedro de Atacama - We will rise early to continue our return journey to the Chile-Bolivia border. After completing the necessary formalities, we will switch vehicles and board a minibus to return to San Pedro de Atacama.
