Great experience even as a solo new adventurer - I'm a decent swimmer, but have never snorkeled before. Needless to say, going solo on this trip made me a little nervous. Our guide Kim, was awesome1 Super friendly and informative. An hour boat ride, then 45 mins of snorkeling. The waters were a lil cloudy due to heavy storms they day before, but when you got near the reefs, it was incredible! So many fish of so many colors and sizes. I hate myself for not taking an underwater camera or GoPro. Then snacks on Can Island and another round of snorkeling in a different area. The waves around the rocks made it tough at times, but the underwater scenes were incredible. Having a large turtle the size of a small child come right up to my face was exhilarating! I saw 6 in awe. If Kim saw something we needed to see, she definitely tried to let everyone know. Like the shark (friendly) that swam under us right before boarding the boat again. Not only did they give us fruit on the boat afterwards, but then back at the office, served us a wonderful and delicious lunch of chicken and rice, veggies, pasta salad, green salad, beans and chips. It was so good! My hats off to Kim, the captain and the crew for such a wonderful experience. I had a blast and would go through them again.

Our epic trip in May 2025 to Costa Rica will always be remembered with a smile - This was our first day in Costa Rica and it was a great way to start the trip. The boat ride to the island was a quite an experience. Getting on the boat and the ride made us appreciate the snorkeling time. it takes about an hour to get to the island and the captain of the boat did a great job trying to keep it a smooth ride. We were joined by flying fish and dolphins on the way too. Snorkeling was great, we saw our first reef shark, turtles and many kinds of fish. After the ride back we had a good typical Costa Rican lunch and that finished up a great day. Next time we hope to go whale watching too but May is not the right time for that.

Great tour for families; fantastic food! - Our entire family of four (two adults and two tweens) loved our snorkeling experience! Our guides were knowledgeable and friendly and did a great job of helping us see and appreciate the incredible variety of marine life surrounding us. In addition to helping us track down reef sharks, green sea turtles, and many beautiful tropical fish, they even went out of their way during our return boat ride to take us to see a mom and baby humpback whale, who ended up playing within 20 feet of our boat! Some things to note: - For our family members who are prone to motion sickness, the boat ride was a little bit rough. - The provided breakfast, snack, and lunch were delicious, fresh, and filling. We were really impressed! - On the day of our tour, we got the feeling that the company combined the Caño and Corcovado excursions onto one boat. This meant that our itinerary was a little bit different than described and the entire excursion lasted significantly longer than scheduled— but it also meant that we got “bonus” time on the beach in Corcovado National Park!

Mariela and our Captain and support and support team were fantastic. A couple of us got sick and they took such good care of us while keeping the your going. Highly recommend

Amazing Snorkeling Tour in Isla El Caño - From the beginning the organization and professionalism of the team were impeccable, ensuring that everything was clear and safe, here I have to highlight that within my group there were Israelis, Roma, and Chileans that our guide Mariela knew how to handle very well. The snorkeling, it was amazing, we saw: Turtles, morays, rays, octopuses and a lot of marine life, plus the current helped us to travel the reefs without greater effort, the guide at this point, was excellent, very knowledgeable of the environment and always attentive to us being comfortable and safe. This is definitely a must in Uvita, I recommend it 100%

Cano is Beautiiiiiiiful! - This was a great tour! I actually live in Costa Rica, so don't often get to experience the pure "tourist" side of things, but this one was well worth it. The boat was safely operated, and the guides were outstanding! Mariela was especially informative, detailed, and clear in her descriptions of the tour, as well as the actual wildlife. The island itself did indeed take about an hour and a half to get to, and if you are prone to sea sickness think about taking something before getting on. Various remedies are available at local pharmacies etc., both natural and medicinal based. On our particular trip on a Sunday in January, we saw Sea Turtles, a reef shark, an octopus, dolphins, and an abundance of local reef fish around the island. It was quite magical actually. If you have a day to enjoy the water, give this trip a go!
