• Thendele Camp - The journey begins at Thendele in the Royal National Park, leading into the Gorge. This hike traces the contours of the Tugela River and offers breathtaking views. After about 7 kilometers of hiking with a good elevation gain, the trail enters a forested area, revealing the stunning amphitheater and the towering cliffs of the Drakensberg. Participants can enjoy swimming in the crystal-clear pools, try some boulder hopping, or opt for the easier paths along the cut routes. All routes will be discussed along the way to ensure they match each client’s fitness level and experience. Upon reaching the final gorge, the effort is rewarded with magnificent rock formations and unique colors. For those who are fit and experienced, additional options can be explored.
