A Journey Through Time and Nature

As a retired teacher with a penchant for road trips, the allure of the open road has always been a siren call to my adventurous spirit. When I heard about the Southwest Adventure tour, I knew it was an opportunity I couldn’t pass up. The promise of exploring iconic destinations like the Grand Canyon, Antelope Canyon, Horseshoe Bend, and Zion National Park was too tempting to resist.

Our journey began with the towering cliffs of Zion National Park. The Watchman Trail offered sweeping views of Zion Canyon, and as I stood there, I couldn’t help but reflect on the countless road trips of my youth. The striking patterns of Checkerboard Mesa were a testament to the geological wonders that have shaped this land over millennia. Our guide, Scott, was a fountain of knowledge, sharing stories of the park’s natural and cultural history that enriched our experience.
