• Laguna Esmeralda - Departing from the hotels at around 9 AM, the journey takes us along National Road No. 3 heading north, venturing into the valleys and moving away from the Beagle Channel. The trek is of moderate difficulty, passing through peat moss areas and Fuegian forests, following the stream that leads to its source, the Emerald Lagoon. The hike is 4.5 kilometers one way with an elevation gain of 200 meters. Upon reaching the lagoon, there will be time to relax and enjoy a packed lunch. Along the trail, beaver dams can be observed, showcasing their impact on the forest.

This moderate difficulty trekking will take through several different environments. From the big valley full of peat moss, through the beaver dams and the fuegian wood, to finally arrive the Emerald Lagoon in between mountains. You will be be amazed by the different colors through trek. The expert mountain guide will talk about the landscape and the fauna and flora that you will see see along the trail.This is the perfect afternoon for nature lovers!

• Children must be accompanied by an adult - Minimum age to take this tour is 6 years old
• Vegetarian and Gluten Free option is available, please advise at time of booking if required.
• Dress Code is important: You must have comfortable trekking shoes, preferably waterproof. Waterproof jacket and a small daily backpack. We recommend to always have a spear pair of socks.
• Use of sunglasses and Sunblock is a recommended.
