• Glaciar Ojo del Albino - The hike begins in the Tierra Mayor Valley, leading through native forests and peatlands to the renowned Emerald Lagoon. This is the first stop after a 1-hour tour, where a brief pause allows for the appreciation of the stunning scenery.

After the lagoon, the ascent commences, moving away from the forested area to climb over rocky terrain. This section is the most challenging, as the climb continues for approximately 3 hours. Following the trail and passing through distinctive orange walls, a natural balcony is reached, offering views of Laguna Esmeralda below and in the distance.

From this point, the final ascent remains. Depending on the season, a few steps may require the use of hands, a helmet, and appropriate equipment. The guide will always be attentive, accompanying the group.

Upon arrival, after 4½ hours of continuous and intense hiking, the impressive front wall of the glacier, standing 20 meters tall, along with its green melting lagoon and unique surroundings, is revealed. In this trek, the effort is undoubtedly rewarded. In winter, the lagoon freezes and is covered in snow, allowing for a walk to the ice wall.
