A Sunday Well-spent - My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our time spent at Little Washington Winery. We did a 2-hour wine tasting event which was very informative. We have done this type of "class" at other wineries, and yet we learned things we had never heard before. We weren't just talked to, we got to experience the wine. Pairing certain foods and wine together can create a taste sensation. You have to try it to believe it! We joined the wine club so we could return for more bottles and hear about future events. Thank you to the perfect hosts- Carl and Donna!

A Brilliant Wine Weekend with Tastings, Classes and most of all, the friendliest hosts! - The most memorable experience with Little Washington Winery's owners, Carl and Donna, was the intimate Winemaker's Dinner where we spent hours chatting about wine and food, the quirkiness and beauty of Little Washington, and just life in general. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed every wine tasting experience, especially the Triple Threat with cheese and chocolate, and have gained an incredible amount of knowledge on wine, charcuterie building and combining with various foods! Didn't know grapes actually do not go with wine! Our suite was lovely and so comfortable it was difficult to leave, especially with serene views of the mountains! The variety of wine is countrywide, many from female winemakers, from locals and made at Little Washington Winery. We bought a case with a variety, including their Meritage Masterpiece "George". The weekend getaway had plenty of wine tastings in a very welcoming home with plenty of areas to kick up the feet and relax. Carl's dinner recommendation to The Blue Door was also appreciated as we enjoyed the romantic outdoor dinner with beautiful flavorful entrees (especially the lamb chop!) and desserts! Thank you Carl and Donna for an amazing experience we hope to have again with you in the future!

Shenandoah Valley - Stayed at a VRBO, “The Great Escape” and it was beautiful❣️( hot tub was great though too hard to get into because of my handicap) but with my husband there I was able to use it!! Went to several wineries (don’t miss Brix and Columns-our favorite!!) ate very good Mexican food, and thoroughly LOVED Skyline Drive-will go back there for sure!!

And tasting event with friends - We thoroughly enjoyed our visit. Carl is a wealth of knowledge on why and he also makes it fun. This is the second time we have been there and we will be coming back.

The Grands Lern About Wine! - What a great way to introduce our grandchildren who are just beginning to learn about the intricacies of wine to how it’s made and how to drink it and with what to drink it!
