• Bears Ears National Monument - Situated in southeastern Utah, Bears Ears National Monument is a breathtaking and culturally important area spanning over 1.35 million acres. • Hole-in-the Rock - “Hole in the Rock” is named after a remarkable natural feature—a rock formation with an actual hole through it. This hole was used as a passage by pioneers who undertook a challenging and perilous journey across difficult desert terrain, steep cliffs, and canyons. The pioneers employed wagons, teams of oxen, and precise engineering to create a path through the rock, enabling their wagons to navigate the narrow opening.
• San Juan River - The San Juan River in Utah is renowned for its stunning scenery, featuring high mesas, sandstone cliffs, and deep canyons, making it a favored spot for outdoor activities such as rafting, kayaking, and fishing. Comb Ridge is a significant geological landmark, extending approximately 70 miles. This elongated, narrow ridge rises steeply above the surrounding terrain, creating a distinctive “comb-like” appearance due to its jagged, stratified rock formations. It is part of the expansive Colorado Plateau and is celebrated for its breathtaking beauty, historical importance, and unique geological features.

The River House Ruin is a significant archaeological site, featuring a well-preserved cliff dwelling from the Ancestral Puebloan culture, which thrived in the area between roughly 600 and 1300 AD.

Renowned for its well-maintained structures, including multi-room dwellings and a kiva (a ceremonial, circular structure used by the Ancestral Puebloans), the ruin offers insights into the construction methods and social organization of its former inhabitants. The site also contains rock art and various artifacts, providing valuable information about the lives of the people who once lived there.
