This part of the cave has been enhanced with lighting, pathways, steps, and handrails. Our tours emphasize education, with guides explaining cave formation, the cave’s history, and highlighting various formations such as stalactites, stalagmites, soda straws, and more, including rare shield and helictite formations! Visitors will also have the opportunity to see cave wildlife like bats and salamanders, as well as ancient fossils. Photography is encouraged, but guests must stay with the group. Currently, children under 3 years old are not permitted on tours. All children must walk the tour independently and cannot be carried.
