Head to Wickford Town Dock and gain insights from the West Passage team about the history of half shells in Rhode Island, the life cycle of an oyster, and the methods of shellfish farming in Rhode Island’s Narragansett Bay. Then, board West Passage Oyster’s 25ft farm boat to their lease at Rome Point for a hands-on experience in daily oyster farming. At the farm, engage in harvesting, shucking, and savoring fresh oysters directly from the water, offering a unique experience found only in Rhode Island.

Our two-hour tours depart from Wickford Harbor aboard our charming 25-foot work skiff, and feature:
