Nice relaxing boat ride with great views - We hoped to see some whales as we saw some from Campabello the day before but alas no such luck. But we got great views of the island and the East Quoddy Light. Then we went to the Old Sow. There are several large and many small whirlpools that grow and move and die and regenerate again in a small area. You could really feel the boat straining against them as we went through the area. Great trip, great crew.

The area developed dense fog and we went into the whirlpools. It was amazing how the water gurgled beside the boat. - Our captain was very knowledgeable in the nautical ways. He spotted eagles and seals. No whales emerged but it was early in the season. Favorite was the whirlpools moving around the boat. The second only location to Norway we learned.
