First class - First time trying a resin class, and it was very cool! Christy was so nice and patient with us, very small intimate class size to make sure everyone is well taken care of in creating their personal art pieces. I would recommend for anyone visiting and wants a nice bonding time with a loved one or friends, plus a great souvenir if visiting!

Awesome Experience & Results - I’ve wanted to do a class like this for a long time and thought my sister and I could take the class together while visiting in Florida. The fee is a little steep, but well worth it. The class is about an hour to 1.15 hrs long. The instructors were very helpful and informative, and you have a variety of choices to choose from. I would highly recommend signing up. You won’t regret it. Note: You have to pick your finished product up the next t day.

Wonderful art studio - This is a great experience with wonderful instructors that guide you through the process of creating your work of art. They have many options to choose from.. it’s a nice relaxing thing to do They have numerous options to choose from. It’s a relaxing activity that allows you to create a beautiful piece of art.

Enjoyed our class very much - Had a great time. Everyone was helpful and our epoxy resin project turned out great. Would recommend and definitely do it again.

Don't think twice taking this class. Go for it! You won't be disappointed. - Don't be afraid to try this! The design is your own free form. It can be tweaked as work. The final product may be better than your original when you are done!

Shattered Glass, who hosts this workshop, uses deceptive business practices - Shattered Glass DIY Sarasota is using deceptive trade practices, bait and switch. If TripAdvisor deletes the screen shots, of website info documenting the deception of this business, they are complicit in deceiving consumers. There are No images in the screenshots. Only evidence that this business uses deceptive trade practices. One of the boards they advertised you could create in their epoxy resin class (on ALL sites) was a lazy susan. That is exactly what we wanted. None of the sites mentioned that some board choices would cost more. Screen shots show what info we were given (and Not given) before we signed up for the class. Note: we would NOT have signed up for this class if we knew lazy susans were not included in the price. We told our instructor we both wanted to do a lazy susan as that was mentioned multiple times on the websites as a choice. The shop owner DID NOT tell us what was included and not included in the $99 class. When confronted she said she did, but she did not. She is likely remembering saying that to the rest of the class earlier. We were late to the class due to very heavy traffic. The class instructor DID NOT mention the lazy susan boards were an upgrade when she pulled them off the shelf and gave them to us. The words “included” and “Upgrade” do not appear anywhere on the wall of boards in their shop. We never heard the word upgrade until we finished. We reluctantly paid the extra $120 plus tax and let them know we were very unhappy as None of the sites we looked at prior to sign up mentioned anything about an upgrade. The next day when we picked up our boards, we told the shop owner we needed to talk. We told her there was no mention of upgrades and we had screenshots from multiple sites where it mentioned lazy susans were a choice. I showed her some while we talked. Even more damming, the owner said they do not even carry lazy susans of the size that would be included in the class. I think strongly that this business owner has deceived other consumers, not just us. Her attitude was hostile and she refused to even consider what we were asking her to do to correct the deception we ran into. What we we’re asking was 2 things; 1. make it clear on all sites, where people can sign up to her classes, what is included and what is an upgrade. 2. refund the $128.40 we had to pay extra. She was very quick to shut me down when I mentioned the word refund. She wouldn’t let me talk, kept talking over me and said all she would offer was a Full refund of the class and the undisclosed upgrade fee but the business would KEEP the art pieces we created. We were asking for $128.40 and they were offering us $340.26 and they keep our work. The only plausible reason they would do that is they knew they could sell what we created for more than the refund they offered us. I wonder how many other people were put into this position. We have filed fraud reports with the FTC, BBB, Florida Dept of Agriculture and Consumer Services, and State Attorneys General Office. BBB was quick to respond. They are trying to get accountability but the shop owner is not addressing the deception At All (too much evidence the deception exists) and only keeps repeating how her shop operates. Which is not relevant as an excuse for their deceptive practices as NONE of what she is saying is on any of the websites where consumers can sign up for her classes.
