• Key Largo Dive Center - This session is the required pool training for the Discover Scuba Reef Diving Adventure. After checking in, participants will engage in a brief poolside orientation with the instructor, who will introduce the skills to be practiced. Once in the pool with the equipment, participants will enjoy learning how to safely breathe and swim underwater using scuba gear. Completing this pool session successfully qualifies participants to join the dive boat for an exhilarating Discover Scuba Reef Diving Adventure, which is a separate activity and not included in this session.

• Use of SCUBA equipment

The Discover Scuba Diving session, a prerequisite for the Discover Scuba Diving Reef Excursion, is conveniently completed in just two hours on-site. Located at the Bayside Inn Key Largo, our dive center offers seamless access to both hotel accommodations and diving activities. Training begins in the pool and beach area, followed by optional open water dives from the dive boat.

• Participants must complete a medical questionnaire. If any positive medical limitations the participant must have a doctor’s approval to participate.
