After a brief boat ride, guests will enter the water with the manatees. The manatees will gently approach. This county is the only place in the United States where it is legal to touch a manatee (as long as they initiate the contact—and they will!). Guests can float or gently swim with the manatees. Photos can be taken, or the captain will take them for free.
After spending time with these magnificent creatures, guests can warm up on the heated boats. Cruise around Monkey Island to see the resident spider monkeys while enjoying delicious hot chocolate!
