After a brief boat ride, guests will enter the water with the manatees. The manatees will gently approach. This county is the only place in the United States where it is legal to touch a manatee (as long as they initiate contact—and they will!). Guests can float or gently swim with the manatees. Photos can be taken by guests or the captain will happily take them at no extra charge.
