Climb aboard The Manatee Duchess and embark on a quest to find the magnificent manatees that inhabit the area. Discover more about the town and its wildlife as the in-water guide and captain offer education and guidance on proper conduct in the water. Manatee sightings vary throughout the year, so it may take anywhere from five minutes to over an hour to spot one in the expansive 600-acre bay. Once a manatee is located, guests can swim alongside these majestic creatures while the in-water guide captures photos and provides assistance as needed. Participants will snorkel calmly and quietly, aided by the wetsuits and swim noodles included in the tour.
