DAY 1: Cusco, KM 104, and Machu Picchu

Winay Wayna - “The journey begins with a pick-up at 4:30 a.m. to travel to Ollantaytambo, where the train to Km 104 awaits. From this point, the trek along the Inca Trail commences, passing by orchids, Wiñayhuayna, and the Sun Gate, offering the first glimpse of Machu Picchu. The day concludes in Aguas Calientes, where accommodations are arranged for the night. The following day is reserved for exploring Machu Picchu.

Machu Picchu - At the early hour of 4:30 a.m., there is an opportunity to ascend Machu Picchu to witness the sunrise, followed by a guided tour of the Machu Picchu citadel. This tour spans 90 minutes to two hours, after which further exploration of the Inca citadel can be done independently. By noon, return to Aguas Calientes for lunch, before boarding the train back to Ollantaytambo, and then a bus to Cusco.
