Great experience in Machu Picchu - We had a great time with Mike from AB expedition. They prepared lunch for us in half way and stayed with us for the entire hike with our pace. The company provided a dinner and also good hotel to stay at Machu Picchu village. Mike was a great person and knowledgeable. I really recommend the team

Safe and fun hike with Ingrid and Alberto - We had a wonderful tour with Ingrid and Alberto. They were well-prepared, patient, super knowledgeable and kind.
The first-day hike was a bit physically demanding given the 3-plus hour straight uphill climb. Alberto and Ingrid frequently checked in on us during the hike and made sure that we well-paced ourselves and stayed hydrated. The hike felt safe with them, and it was extremely fun!
Also kudos to our porter and cook, who made fantastic food for lunch!
We stayed with Ingrid for the second day, and she showed us around in Machu Picchu. She explained the Inca history and took great photos!
We would highly recommend AB Expedition and our guides, Ingrid and Alberto!

I joined the 3-day Sacred Valley and Inca Trail hike tour.
The communication before the trip was excellent; they replied to all my questions via email very promptly.
Our guide, Gio, was amazing—he knew the best photo spots at every site and was always eager to help us take pictures. During the Inca Trail hike, we were treated to a delicious, freshly cooked lunch at the campsite. Even though there were only three of us, they prepared 7-8 incredible dishes, which gave us the perfect energy boost!
The hotels for both nights were of great quality. Overall, this tour gave us wonderful, unforgettable memories of Machu Picchu!

An unforgettable experience!! - We did the 2-day Inca Trail and it was absolutely perfect. Miguel, our guide, accompanied us so well, encouraged us, and informed us. It was an incredible experience that I absolutely want to repeat and I recommend it to all my friends. The picnic at the summit was absolutely incredible. Thank you very much, Miguel Rozas and the AB Expedition team for the beautiful experience!

2-day Short Inca Trail - We had a great couple of days on the short Inca Trail with our guide Miguel Rozas. Miguel looked after us well, made a fun environment and was passionate and knowledgable about the history too. The food was also great and the perfect weather helped too! My only criticism is that the organisation with the office beforehand could be better - it was a bit chaotic and the staff didn’t seem to fully understand the tour itinerary, so we had to be explain to them what we actually booked.

Amazing 2D inca trail tour - We absolutely loved our Short Inca Trail experience! Everything was perfectly organized by AB Expedition. It was smooth from start to finish, with no hiccups at all.
The food was excellent, both in quality and quantity. We were genuinely impressed by how well we were fed throughout the trek.
A special shoutout to our guide Miguel Rozas, who made the whole experience unforgettable. He's funny, incredibly knowledgeable, and knows how to bring Inca history to life in a way that keeps you hooked. You can tell he's truly passionate about what he does.

Wonderful experience - We have had the most amazing experience exploring the Sacred Valley and Machu Picchu.
Communication with the company(AB Expeditions) was excellent from the very beginning, and everything was explained clearly and smoothly throughout the trip.
On the morning of our 2-day adventure we were met by Ricardo, who guided us through parts of the Sacred Valley. There are two route options to choose from, each covering slightly different sites, and we chose the Chinchero and Moray salt mines route. Ricardo was an excellent guide — incredibly knowledgeable, happy to answer all of our questions, and although we were on a schedule to catch the train to Machu Picchu, we never once felt rushed.
After completing this part of the tour, we boarded the train and were met at the other end by our second guide, Robinson.
From the very start, Robinson explained our itinerary clearly. Originally, we were booked onto Circuit 1 at Machu Picchu with the mountain trek, as all other tickets had sold out at the time of booking. Knowing that my husband had been unwell before the trip, Robinson kindly offered to arrange Circuit 2 tickets for us instead, allowing us to skip the mountain hike.
This was exactly what we had hoped for originally, so we were absolutely over the moon.
Robinson was fantastic throughout — full of knowledge about the Incas and Machu Picchu, answering every question we had while also giving us the time to truly take in and enjoy this magnificent place.
He genuinely made my dream come true and made the entire experience unforgettable. I would strongly recommend to ask for these guys if possible to take you on this wonderful tour.
What also made this company special to us is that it is a local company, meaning the money supports local people and communities — which was one of the main reasons we chose them in the first place.

Machu Picchu great experience - My 2 Days Inca Trail experience with AB Expeditions was absolutely unforgettable, and a huge part of that was thanks to guide, Felipe Cuchuyrumi Puma.
Felipe was an outstanding guide and an incredibly warm and positive person! He made everyone in the group felt included and comfortable throughout the journey. During the trail, he shared fascinating details about the surrounding plants, animals, Inca history, traditions. You could clearly see how deeply connected he is to the spirit of the Inca Trail.
His English was excellent, he answered every question patiently, and his energy (e.g. in motivating us 😄) made the entire experience even more special. Honestly, it is hard to imagine anyone better in this role. He definitely deserves a raise 😃
I also want to highly recommend AB Expeditions as a company. Everything was organized professionally from beginning to end. The hotel was very good, the transportation (train, buses) was smooth and comfortable, and the porters and cooks did an amazing job. There were no weak moments during the trip. Everything was perfectly prepared, and we never had to worry about anything.
If you are considering the Inca Trail and Machu Picchu experience, I recommend AB Expeditions and especially Felipe. They made this adventure truly unforgettable 😊

2 day Inca Trail - We did the 2 day short Inca trail with Maik and it was an incredible experience. Maik accompanied us on the whole hike and even stayed behind helping some members of the group. We had a great prepared lunch on the trail, the cooked food was comparable to restaurant quality. Everything was already prebooked for us including Machu Picchu tickets, bus and train tickets, and hotel so it was a very smooth experience throughout. Maik was very informative and we learned so much about the history and culture. Would highly recommend

Outstanding AB Expeditions - The 2 day Inca trail with our guide Maik was excellent! He made sure that everyone is safe during our trek since we’re the only ones in our mid to late 50’s with six others who are in their 20’s and 30’s. When we reached the Sun Gate, we were pleasantly surprised to be given a “Been There” shirt. We totally appreciated this thoughtful gesture by AB Expeditions. Maik was very knowledgeable when he shared information during our 2nd day which helped us appreciate the Incan culture more. Our lunch picnic at Winaywayna was outstanding. Daniel, our chef prepared a delicious feast for us to enjoy! Everything was fresh and delectable! We’re so glad we chose AB Expeditions for our Peru Trip.
