• Inca Trail - Day 1: Inca Trail Km 104 - Machu Picchu Town (Meals: L, D)

Guests will be collected from their hotel around 6:00 a.m. (depending on train schedule) and transported to the train station. The journey begins with a bus ride, followed by a scenic 3.5-hour train ride to Km 104, the starting point of the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu. From there, participants will embark on a 4-hour uphill trek to the Inca site of WiñayWayna (Quechua for Forever Young) (2700m/8850 ft). A box lunch will be provided, and time will be spent appreciating this remarkable site before joining the classic Inca Trail path. The hike continues to Inti Punku (Sun Gate) (2730m/8792ft), offering a panoramic and stunning view of Machu Picchu (2400m/7873ft). The group will then descend the final section of the Inca Trail to the Inca Citadel of Machu Picchu for a brief preview in preparation for the following day. A side path will lead down to the town of Aguas Calientes. The day concludes with a descent to Aguas Calientes and dinner at a local restaurant. Overnight stay in Aguas Calientes (Altitude: 2000m, 6500ft).

• Machu Picchu - Day 2: Explore the New Seven Wonder Machu Picchu (Meals: B)

After breakfast, the first bus (5:00 a.m.) will take guests up to Machu Picchu to witness the beautiful sunrise and enjoy a comprehensive tour of Machu Picchu, visiting the most significant temples within the ruins. There will be free time for personal exploration of the site. For an additional fee, entrance tickets for both Machu Picchu and Wayna Picchu (the mountain seen in every picture of Machu Picchu) 2720m/8890ft can be arranged. This optional hike requires advance booking and takes approximately 45 minutes to ascend and another 45 minutes to descend. The afternoon is free for lunch, visiting the hot springs of Aguas Calientes, or exploring the small market or museum. Finally, guests will take the train from Aguas Calientes to Ollantaytambo, followed by a bus ride to Cusco.
