The path leads through a vast, lush area dedicated to environmental protection, teeming with local wildlife and flora, offering opportunities to admire the birds and other unique animals native to the region.

Along the way, there are viewpoints offering breathtaking vistas of the southern beaches, oceanic islands, and much of Guanabara Bay.

The route follows a historic path first conquered in 1817 by the pioneering climbers of Sugarloaf Mountain.

Travelers will encounter sections along the shore and a small climbing portion that requires no prior experience. With the assistance of a guide, reaching the summit of Sugarloaf Mountain becomes more accessible.

At this stage, all safety gear, including ropes, helmets, and harnesses, will be used to ensure a completely safe climb.
