Your lesson will cover the key movement techniques and safety procedures used in rock climbing. The lesson is 100% practical - you will learn all concepts while climbing and practicing them on the rock!
You will learn:
- several principal climbing knots, including the figure-8 knot
- lead and top-rope belaying
- basic rappelling system
- movement skills (body position, footwork, and balance)
- climbing terms and communication
- sport ethics
During the lesson, you will help your instructor set up a “top-rope” to protect a route, you will climb the route perfecting your skills, and you will end the lesson learning to rappel. Of course, you will also enjoy the amazing views and beautiful natural setting of the climbing location!
