The vessel was designed and built right here in Hervey Bay and features 5 viewing decks on 3 different levels to ensure uncrowded and unobstructed views. The vessel has various vantage points from right on the waterline to the third-story rooftop viewing platform where you feel on top of the world.

Awesome day in the Bay - On Sunday my husband and I went on the half day tour west of Fraser Island.
We had a wonderful time!
The skipper was excellent, the morning tea delicious and the toys to play in the water with were awesome. Great crew and great day out!

Great value for money and a fantastic tour - We did the aqua oasis tour and it was fantastic value for money, such a great day on the water. The staff were lovely, we will definitely do it again and will take any friends that come up on it as well. Great for families and worth doing the extension for lunch.

Amazing Aqua Oasis Tour – highly recommend! - We did the Aqua Oasis Tour as part of our Christmas party and it was honestly the best experience. From the moment we stepped onboard, the skipper and crew were incredible — so friendly, professional, and made sure everyone was relaxed and having fun.
The setup was perfect, the atmosphere was unreal, and the whole tour was so well run. It was the perfect mix of fun and chill, and we all walked away saying how amazing it was.
We loved it so much we’re already planning to book again! If you’re considering the Aqua Oasis Tour, don’t hesitate — you won’t be disappointed.

Aqua Oasis tour is such a fun time - We went on the Aqua Oasis cruise for our work christmas party. We had so much fun, the weather was perfect and the crew couldn't be more helpful. Highly recommend, it was the best day out on the water I've ever had.

Whale Watching Hervey Bay - Have completed my tenth season on board Hervey Bay whale watch.
The 2025 season has been amazing from commencement in July to last day 19th October.
I am a regular whale watcher throughout the season and as usual was not disappointed.
A big thank you to skippers Josh, Sam. Steve as usual you have excelled in showcasing our humpbacks and I still learn something new on my trips.
The crew Nat, Jack, James, Hayley, Darren, Peta ,Kellie always nearby on deck to lend a hand and provide great morning and afternoon teas.
Lindy, Alicia, Tahnee in the office providing support to guests with their booking requirements.
The "QuickCat" is purpose built for whale watching, plenty of room around the decks to move around with different levels to get the best views whether you wish to be high or lower.
Have witnessed some amazing interactions this season and share some of my photos .
I can highly recommend Hervey Bay whale watch it was the first cruise company we booked with whilst on holiday, now living in Hervey Bay it is the vessel of choice

An excellent half day trip with plenty to see, even later on in the season. - I wondered how successful we would be later in the season, but I needn't have worried. As I overheard "We run out of customers before we run out of whales", this was borne out on this excellent half day trip. We went in the afternoon and saw at least 4 mothers and calves and even had the excitement of a mother breaching about 15-20 metres from the boat looking for her calf.
The crew are excellent at spotting the signs from km's away and heading towards possible sightings and also at explaining what we are seeing, from the captain at the wheel, to other members of crew around the decks.
Afternoon tea was supplied and was good.
A highly recommended half day trip, with an excellent chance of whale spotting.

Awesome afternoon of whale watching - What a great experience. Very informative tour with running commentary about whales and their behaviour. Mum has limited mobility and the crew went above and beyond to help her throughout the day - helping with onboarding, ensuring she was seeing plenty of the action and bringing her afternoon tea. These things make a huge difference to the day. Thank you so much for an awesome day - would highly recommend.

Best day out on morning Whale Watch !!! - We did a Wonderful Morning Whale Watch trip with Hervey Bay Whale Watch, boat ""Quick Cat 11"" was comfortable, plenty of space for viewing and staff were very friendly and helpful. we also added the lunch at K''gari on the way home and the food was delicious and plentiful. I highly recommend this company. 5 star service !!!

Second time Whale Watch not a great as the first. - We had done whale watch from Hervey Bay before and had a great experience. We had hoped that being a bit earlier in September would have helped. However this time proved to be not so much. We loved the crew and the fact that it was a family run business. No complaints there at all however, the haul across to K'Gari before getting to the whales is a bit of a drag to be honest then the repeat on return. Also, the spotting experience was a complete let down compared to last time, and again more time spottine less time cruising might have helped.
