When pausing here for the night, be sure to have drinks and snacks ready to enjoy a spectacular natural show.

Wathumba Creek - Experience the Fraser Coast’s version of Whitehaven Beach as we anchor near the pristine white sandy beaches and clear blue waters of Wathumba Creek on Fraser Island. When the tide is favorable, it’s an ideal spot for snorkeling to discover an underwater world teeming with turtles, rays, fish, and more.
One of the highlights of stopping at Wathumba Creek on a skippered charter with Fraser Island Boat Charters is the inlet’s shelter from all wind directions, ensuring maximum comfort. While waiting at Wathumba Creek as the tide recedes, keep an eye out for the purebred Fraser Island dingoes that often roam this area. It’s also a fantastic location to bring out the fishing gear for extra adventure.
