Standing at 90 meters, Henrhyd Falls is the tallest waterfall in South Wales. It was also featured as The Bat Cave in The Dark Knight Rises.

Bring a waterproof coat, as you can walk behind the waterfall.

Please Note: The terrain is uneven and may be slippery, so it is highly recommended to wear waterproof footwear with good grip. Due to the challenging terrain, this site is not suitable for individuals with mobility issues, and a reasonable level of fitness is advised.

• Black Mountain Quarries - Explore the historic Limestone Quarries situated over 500 meters above sea level. These quarries were used for centuries, initially by local farmers for personal use and later commercially in the 19th and 20th centuries before closing in the 1950s. You can observe the quarry workings, kilns, and spoil heaps, or simply enjoy the stunning views across the Brecon Beacons before continuing your tour.
• Bannau Brycheiniog National Park Visitor Centre - Savor a late lunch at the Visitor Centre, with scenic views of the countryside leading to Pen-Y-Fan. Afterwards, browse the gift shop and admire the handmade gifts crafted by local artisans.

This exclusive sightseeing tour will take participants through the Rhondda Valley, once the thriving center of the coal mining industry in South Wales.

At the summit of Rhigos Mountain, there will be a brief stop to admire the stunning views across the Brecon Beacons National Park. The tour will then proceed into Wales’ second-largest national park to visit South Wales’ tallest waterfall, Henrhyd Falls, famously known as “The Batman Waterfall” for its role as the Batcave in The Dark Knight Rises.

The journey continues along The Black Mountain Pass, with a stop at the former limestone quarry to enjoy the breathtaking scenery, before heading to the Bannau Brycheiniog National Park Visitor Centre. Here, participants can enjoy a late lunch while gazing at Pen-y-Fan, the highest peak in South Wales. After lunch, the tour will return to Cardiff, exploring more of Bannau Brycheiniog along the way and pausing for photos at some of the most picturesque viewpoints in the national park.
