Harnessing the elements of a wild place, this smooth, earthy gin is a love letter to nature. - Urquhart Castle - Urquhart Castle is probably one of the most photographed castles in Scotland, dating from around the 13th Century (But has settlement finds on the site dating back to prehistoric times.) It’s position on the Loch provides the perfect backdrop for viewing and photographing Loch Ness (with or without the monster).

Beauly Priory - The Beautiful village of Beauly was where Claire and Jamie were heading to early in season one.
Beauly Priory was a Valliscaulian monastic community located at “Insula de Achenbady”, now Beauly, Inverness-shire. It was probably founded around 1230. It is not known for certain who the founder was, different sources giving Alexander II of Scotland or John Byset.

Perfect Day in Inverness!!! - We spent a wonderful day in Inverness with Sarah! She was extremely knowledgeable with her tour and the history or legends that went with each site - nice being with a local! She picked us up at the port and got us back in plenty of time. She had a great personality and this made for us to have a wonderful day. Definitely recommend her and Go Highlands tours.

This Is Your Tour & George Is Your Scot You’ve Been Waiting To Meet - Book this tour. Now. Full stop. George is like an old Scottish friend that you wanna hang out with, drink whiskey & learn all you can about his homeland Inverness & all things Scottish whilst teasing him about being known everywhere you go. What was to be a 4 person trip became a private tour w/ my sister and I, George & his wee dog, Leo. We overstayed at Clava Cairns & Culloden learning all we could; picking George’s endless depths of knowledge & literally getting wrapped up in a kilt. Then on to Great Glen Distillery for-hands down-the best gin I’ve ever had.
A bite of soup & onward to Urquhart Castle & more silly questions for my new best friend, George. Then true disappointment when the tour was closing out because he’s a gem & we didn’t want to stop chatting. Nor did we want to say bye to Leo.
Grand, grand time. Do this tour. Get George. He’s a wealth of knowledge & a helluva guy, plus the kilt is 👌🏽 We learned more in 6 hrs than I’ve ever learned about Scotland in my life.
So hit book. Now. You’ll see what I mean. Thanks, George!

Our Scotland adventure. - George was a fantastic guide; had a great, dry humor and was very informative. He made suggestions about a possible change to our itinerary and let our small group decide which option we preferred. I would happily book with him again if returning to the Inverness area.

High Praise for this Highland Tour - George was a joy to travel with. He has so much knowledge and passion, and it really made the day special, so much so that as we walked back to the ship with the other group who was on the excursion, we were all talking about coming back to the Highlands and booking a longer tour with his company. This tour was perfect as a shore excursion with no concerns about timing, and nimble response to the weather. We really loved our experience and couldn't recommend it enough.

Really great day - This was a great tour. Our guide, George, made the day fun. The small size of the group helped make the tour much more personal than the typical excursion. In addition to expanding on the Outlander connection to the sites we visited, he also provided historical context from the perspective of someone who grew up in the area and knows it well. We learned a lot about Scottish history, and George left us wanting to come back. We were lucky to have great weather. The visit to Urquhart Castle was amazing, with a breathtaking view of Loch Ness. I highly recommend!

Best Tour Guide at Invergordon/Inverness - If you don’t book this excursion, you will be missing out on the best tour guide you can have. I read the reviews and chose the tour as a result. George is the most liked tour guide I have ever seen in over 20 years of traveling. Everyone knew him, and you can tell he was well liked by everyone. His knowledge he gives you on the history of Inverness/Invergordon is the best. He explains things where you can vision what life was like centuries ago. This tour made our trip, and my family liked everything about him and this tour! Please do not book another tour. You will not get as much knowledge and humor we did! George, you’re the best and cannot thank you enough!!!

Wrong excursion- do not recommend - The tour operator put us in the wrong van so we ended up on the wrong excursion. Bucket list locations that I’ll never have the opportunity to see again were missed. The driver then told us we weren’t missing much! We received no apology or explanation. So we paid for an excursion we did not receive. Cannot recommend- so disappointed.
