The itinerary includes a visit to Laxey Woolen Mills, where the weaver crafts Manx Tartan and other tweeds on manually operated looms, before proceeding to King Orry’s Grave, a Neolithic burial site.
The tour will also explore the site of the first monastery at Maughold on the island, established in 550, and home to numerous ancient crosses carved by Celts and Vikings.
A brief stop in the town of Ramsey will lead north to the Point of Ayre and the island’s flat glacial plains, with opportunities to admire the small churches and villages along the route.
After a lunch break, an exhilarating drive along the famous TT course will lead to Peel, a charming location with its castle, cathedral, marina, and historic fishing cottages, before heading to St Johns and Tynwald Hill: a four-tiered hill that is one of the island’s most iconic landmarks.
