Along the way, visit a camel farm and get up close & personal w/ the so-called ships of the desert. Upon reaching the oasis, sit back and immerse in its tranquil beauty as you enjoy an hour-long picnic lunch. After a blissful rest, fuel your adventurous side; try out sand boarding, feeling the breeze whizz by as you surf down steep dunes. On the way back, as the sun approaches the horizon, we will stop at a vantage point. Bask in nature’s artistry, the sky brushed in crimson shades. Take photos & capture the moment. Epic and not to be missed - Visiting the Liwa Oasis and the surrounding desert is a must if you are in Abu Dhabi. The drive through the dunes was incredible. Mohammed is an extremely skilled driver and knows exactly what he is doing. He has lots of knowledge about the desert and can tell you the most interesting stories. The food was amazing and the level of service top notch. If the Empty Quarter calls your name, go have a look for yourself!

Guaranteed wonder - Many thanks to Mohammed for an incredible day. It was an extraordinary experience. Fasten your seat belts and trust an excellent driver... After emotions, make way for delicacy with a good picnic prepared by our host and finally to cap off this sublime day a sunset served with a delicious tea to amaze all our senses. And as a bonus we had the chance to see a gazelle by night on the way home.
Thank you again Mohammed for this day that will remain unforgettable... too bad that our English did not allow us to converse any longer... Carla and Sylvain

Incredible experience - Mohamed was perfect during that day! He was a very good guide and a very good pilot in this desert having offered us incredible landscapes! The meal was great too. I strongly recommend this activity.

A must do in Abu Dhabi - I have been to various deserts several times, but Al-Rub' al-Khali is exeptional. The dunes are magnificent. Our guide was a real master desert driver, and apart from it, or above all, a very sympathetic man. Feeding the camels at the camel farm is a nice experience for kids and teens, and the lunch at the oasis is not only tasty but relaxing. The sunset and the night climb on the top of a dune was unforgetable. Definately a must do in Abu Dhabi!

Absolutely amazing ! Don’t miss it - Absolutely amazing !! A wonderful experience. Mohammed could not have been a better guide. Nothing was too much trouble and he showed our family of 5 this magical place. We camped under the stars and he cooked us an amazing BBQ. His off road skills are quite incredible.

Private and authentic desert experience - Authentic desert experience, different from the usual excursions for tourists.
We had booked for the two of us and thought we were with other people instead it was basically a private tour. You really taste the essence of the desert and being small in the middle of nowhere and the immensity of the fourth void. (Years before we had done desert Safari in Dubai that cost half this but you found yourself in the desert sharing with other equivalent excursions and so many other people, making the dunes like dozens of other jeeps around and queuing up to take pictures on the camel.)
Here instead it is a real private tour and if you want also customized to your needs ! (For example on the way back we were stopped to see the fort of liwa which was not in the program but we had asked for it.)
After tours with the land rover on the dunes and sand boarding they left us totally alone to watch the sunset and nightfall. Then they came to pick us up to make us have a typical dinner at a nearby oasis, even there ‘they left us completely alone. The times were also very dilated compared to the schedule (perhaps even too much because at one point it was hard not to go to the bathroom until the car grill of the return trip). The two guys are very nice and friendly guides and also skilled photographers and video makers!
If you're lucky you can see gazelles like us.
The destination of Liwa is very far from Abu Dhabi (about 2 hours) but it is worth it!

Highlight of our Abu Dhabi trip! - So happy to be able to join this tour!
Liwa desert is quite different from Dubai desert. Its characteristic red colour and vast expanse of dunes, which were breathtakingly beautiful…I do believe it was definitely right choice to join this tour!
You guys were great/funny guides! We had so much fun❤️ I wonder how can you drive in trackless desert…Such a pro!

Exceptional desert experience, not to be missed! Very kind and super helpful staff! ! - It's not your usual pre-packaged, commercial tour just a few miles from Abu Dhabi. It's in the inner desert of the United Arab Emirates, not far from Saudi Arabia. The dunes are very high, you have fun with jumping on the dunes with the off-road, making steep descents, and you let yourself slide with a surfboard. You can admire the sunset in the dunes. You have lunch in a palm grove with typical local foods. There are guys from Oman and nice Indians, helpful and well prepared. Experience to be had at least once in a lifetime. The price is extremely competitive compared to similar trips to the Liwa Desert.

Tour for True Desert Experience - The tour was just amazing. The guide, Mohammed, was not only a great tour guide, but also a great driver and a photographer. We enjoyed the breathtaking views of desert, got some nice photos and videos, had fun thrilling drive, and ended the day with nicely cooked dinner and star gazing.
One thing I'm disappointed is that I have my pictures/videos taken by him, which I trusted to receive later on. Unfortunately a week past by, although I contacted them again, none of those memories reached to me. Since it is one of the once in a lifetime moment, I strongly suggest you to use your own phone to take photos so that you can be sure you have those memories in your hand
Other than that, everything is great and if you are looking for a tour which offers true desert experience, this is the one to take.

Memorable experince in Liwa Desert - We have had a great day in Liwa desert. Mohammed, our guide is very good.
Fantastic driving skills over sand dunes.
He took very nice photos and videos of us.
We thoroughly enjoyed the sunset in desert and nice dinner in oasis.
