Along the way, visit a camel farm and get up close & personal w/ the so-called ships of the desert. Upon reaching the oasis, sit back and immerse in its tranquil beauty as you enjoy an hour-long picnic lunch. After a blissful rest, fuel your adventurous side; try out sand boarding, feeling the breeze whizz by as you surf down steep dunes. On the way back, as the sun approaches the horizon, we will stop at a vantage point. Bask in nature’s artistry, the sky brushed in crimson shades. Take photos & capture the moment. An Absolutely Fantastic Safari with the Best Guide Rafi! - Had an absolutely fantastic desert safari experience in Liwa! The scenery was incredibly beautiful - the Liwa dunes are so tall and truly majestic. Our guide Rafi was amazing. Not only is he a highly skilled driver who expertly took us dune bashing, but he also helped us take photos and even taught us some fun posing tips. Watching the sunset at the end of the trip was the perfect, breathtaking finale. Everything was wonderful and absolutely worth the 2.5-hour drive. Highly recommended!

ADVENTURE AND EXCITEMENT IN THE DESERT - Leaving at lunch time we drove for 2 hours or so towards Liwa Oasis, and after having the pressure on the tyres reduced we hit the dunes in Empty Quarter… and that’s when the fun and adventure really started. Our driver and guide Mohammed, excelled in his driving skills up,down and around the huge dunes. And no one else in sight as we spent the late afternoon until sunset driving around the deserts. Absolutely awesome, Mohammed always ensuring that safety comes first whenever we paused to walk around and take photos of the views. We were up there until sunset and then headed to a small oasis where a delicious and tasty dinner was prepared for us. It’s a long day out but truly worthwhile.

Unforgettable, natural, adventurous, safe, fun, impressive! - A really great experience! You should definitely have experienced! Nature at its most beautiful. We were picked up very conveniently directly from the hotel by two drivers at about 1:30 p.m., and were able to have very pleasant conversations and learn some about the country and culture during the drive. After about 2.5h we started the wonderful dune ride. Completely safe, it offers an unforgettable adventure feeling! The red sand is just a miracle. We could even spot gazelles, saw camels on the way, made an occasional stop to whizz down the dunes on a board and enjoy the sunset. Really beautiful. In the evening then in the oasis there was a really very generous wonderful food, where you were also asked what you like and was freshly shopped accordingly. Wonderful palate with very pleasant accompaniment, cosmopolitan, multicultural and very hospitable. At the end I was able to climb a dune under a clear starry sky, just great! Nature likes to show itself to those who love it. In the end we were again comfortably dropped off at the hotel and were thus about 23:30 at home. I would like to thank my drivers for this unforgettable experience! Value for money great, gladly again!

Desert tour of lifetime - We had an absolutely amazing experience exploring the Liwa Desert with our guide, Shafeeeq. From start to finish, he went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable and enjoying every moment. His friendly nature and deep knowledge of the desert made the journey both exciting and memorable.
What really stood out was how attentive he was—he constantly checked in to make sure we were safe and comfortable in the jeep, and he took so much effort to make the ride smooth and enjoyable. On top of that, Shafeeeq turned out to be a fantastic photographer! He captured incredible pictures of us against the golden dunes—moments we’ll treasure forever.
If you’re planning a Liwa desert tour, we can’t recommend Shafeeeq enough. His professionalism, warmth, and genuine care for his guests make the experience truly unforgettable.

We arrived just in time to catch the sunset, and Shafeeeq captured some incredible photos of us against the glowing dunes.
After sunset, we ventured deeper into the desert and were lucky enough to witness a meteor shower while our guides prepared a delicious meal. The atmosphere was magical—sitting around the torchlight, laughing together, it felt straight out of a movie scene.
Since we needed to return to Abu Dhabi that night, Shafeeeq kindly drove us back while others stayed overnight in the tents. We’re so grateful for his thoughtfulness and for making the entire journey unforgettable!

Marvellous Experience - Salim and Faisal hosted us wonderfully. They are excellent guides — driving safely, making jokes, taking beautiful photos and videos for us, and preparing a marvellous dinner and tea. Lacked the culinary experience - Overall well, beautiful experience in the dunes, I expected a more cared for food, even simple but certainly not club sandwich.
