• Berblinger Turm - The Berblinger Turm honors Albrecht Ludwig Berblinger, famously known as the “Tailor of Ulm,” who made an attempt to fly over the Danube River in 1811.
• Ulm’s Town Hall - Dating back to 1370, the Ulm Town Hall features a façade adorned with intricate frescoes that illustrate historical and allegorical scenes. A highlight of the Town Hall is its astronomical clock, which was installed in 1520.
• Ulm Minster - Constructed in 1377, the Ulm Minster boasts the tallest church steeple globally, reaching 161.53 meters (530 feet). Its ornate façade and intricate interior showcase the exceptional craftsmanship and artistry of the era.
• Schworhaus - The Schwörhaus is where the mayor of Ulm delivers the Schwörrede, or Oath Speech, annually on Schwörmontag (Oath Monday). This tradition has medieval origins. The original building dates back to 1345, though it has been rebuilt several times, notably after fires in 1785 and during World War II.
• The Leaning House - Renowned for its significant tilt, the Leaning House is a timber-framed structure that leans noticeably to one side, offering a striking and unforgettable sight. The tilt results from the gradual settling of its wooden foundation. It is recognized in the Guinness Book of World Records as the “most crooked hotel in the world.”
• Metzgerturm - Built around 1345, the Metzgerturm was initially part of the city’s fortifications, serving as both a watchtower and a defensive structure.
