The day begins at Sukhbaatar Square, then moves through the everyday side of Ulaanbaatar beyond the typical sightseeing route. Visitors will see local markets, schoolyards, the railway district, and spots most people pass by without knowing their stories. Along the way, the Operator shares what growing up here has taught them about the city and everyday Mongolian life.
Next, the group heads home to a tenth-floor apartment with the city spread out below. Over herbal tea, the pace slows down while learning Shagai, a traditional Mongolian ankle bone game, before moving into the kitchen.
Guests roll the dough, cut the noodles, prepare the ingredients, and cook Tsuivan with their own hands, the way it’s made in Mongolian homes.
By the time everyone sits down, the meal is theirs. They made it.
