Women have begun to partake in archery, and girls in horse racing, however, they are yet to participate in Mongolian wrestling. In 2010, UNESCO included Naadam on its Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity. The highlight of the Naadam festival is the opening ceremony, wherein tickets are fairly limited.
