Arrival at the Nomadic Challenge Camp
Dundgovi Province - Participants will be picked up from Ulaanbaatar and driven to Deren soum, a journey of approximately 200 km taking around 4 hours.
They will engage in constructing a Traditional Mongolian Ger and collaboratively prepare Tsuivan, a classic Mongolian stir-fried noodle dish, for dinner.

Dairy Traditions and Nomadic Arts
Dundgovi Province - Participants will explore Mongolian dairy production, learning how traditional dairy products (Tsagaan Idee) like curds and fermented milk are made.
They will also discover how nomads preserve and cook meat for long winters through Mongolian dried meat soup.
The session includes learning about Khoomei, Biyelgee dance, and demonstrations of the Morin Khuur (Horse fiddle).
Nomadic Daily Life Experience
Baga Gazriin Chuluu (Small Rock Formation) - Participants will learn to make a traditional local breakfast, including Mongolian cream (Urum) and Boortsog (pastry).
They will ride horses across the steppe to water the livestock and learn about the benefits of Argal, a traditional and sustainable biofuel used by nomads for heating, and participate in its collection.
The experience includes a hands-on Buuz (dumpling) making session and a visit to Baga Gazriin Chuluu, a stunning granite rock formation in the Gobi steppe.
Adventure at the White Stupa
Tsagaan Suvarga - After breakfast, the group will head to Tsagaan Suvarga, also known as the White Stupa, one of Mongolia’s most breathtaking natural formations.
Participants will engage in a Content Creator Challenge, capturing the beauty of the dramatic cliffs, colorful sediment layers, and vast desert landscapes through photography or short videos. This activity fosters creativity while exploring one of the Gobi region’s most iconic sites.
The afternoon will be free for exploration, relaxation, or enjoying the remarkable views of the surrounding desert scenery.
Nomadic Skills and Traditional Games
Dundgovi Province - After breakfast, the group will return to Deren. Lunch will feature a fun DIY Dumpling Tea experience, where participants learn to prepare small traditional dumplings enjoyed with tea.
In the afternoon, the nomadic lifestyle experience continues with horse riding to water livestock, followed by another round of the Argal Biofuel Challenge, emphasizing the importance of sustainable practices in nomadic life.
Later, participants will compete in the Nomadic Games Challenge, featuring traditional Mongolian games such as Shagai (ankle bone shooting), Alag Melkhii puzzle assembly, horse racing simulations, and various traditional brain-teaser games.
Dinner will be another interactive experience with Noodle DIY cooking, where the winning team receives a selection of fresh bread and pickled vegetables as their prize. The evening concludes with rest and preparation for the grand finale.
Mini Naadam Festival and Celebration
Dundgovi Province - After breakfast, the highlight of the journey begins: the Mini Naadam Challenge, inspired by Mongolia’s most famous national festival, Naadam Festival.
Throughout the day, participants will compete in various traditional games and challenges that reflect the spirit of the “Three Manly Sports” and other nomadic traditions.
In the evening, the experience concludes with a bonfire party and festive award ceremony. Participants will celebrate their achievements while enjoying a special Nomadic Feast under the open steppe sky.
Return to Ulaanbaatar
Ulaanbaatar - After breakfast, the group will drive back to Ulaanbaatar. Upon arrival, the guide and driver will drop participants off at their hotel, marking the end of an unforgettable Nomad Challenge experience filled with culture, adventure, and authentic nomadic traditions.
