A fabulous day trip - I’m so glad my friends and I chose this day trip with Amicus. It was 5 star from start to finish. We were collected by our fabulous guide Mobby right on time, piled into our modern car with an amazing excellent driver and off we went. A coffee stop was no drama. Everywhere we visited was super interesting and enhanced greatly by Mobby’s knowledge of all things Mongolian. Mobby’s English was excellent and she was so patient with our endless questions. Can 100% recommend this tour and company.

Beautiful country, Friendly people, Excellent service, Exceptional guide and driver - An absolutely fantastic experience, everything arranged on very short notice and everything was perfect. Our guide Delgermaa (Dema) and driver Erka couldn’t have done more to make the trip more memorable and exactly what we wanted. The national parks are fantastic, our accommodation was beyond our expectations and certainly is recommendable. We are so happy with the short tour arranged by Amicus we are already booking for a much longer tour later this year, such a beautiful country and excellent experience to good to miss the opportunity to explore further and see more.

Considerate and knowledgeable guides! - We had a limited amount of time in UB and decided on a private tour. We started at 9am and beat the traffic heading straight out to the equestrian statue. There we spent an enjoyable time with Moby who guided us through the exhibits and explained the various symbols. We learned so much about the history and culture of the Mongolian people. We were then whisked off to Terlig National Park area for a visit to a nomadic family. Once again, moby provided much insight into the daily lives of the Mongolian people who have continued to practice their nomadic culture and the effort they take to maintain their lifestyles. We then headed off for our afternoon meal and then deeper into the national park to see the Turtle Rock. All this while our driver Enkhtur was driving so considerately through the terrain as slowly as possible and maneuvering to avoid the bumps. We felt very looked after at every step of the way. The highlight of our tour had to be the little hike up to the temple in the National Park. There we enjoyed the calm of the cool shade and spent some time to contemplate and rest from the cardiovascular work out we got. Moby also provided us with tips on where to get the best deals for cashmere clothing and brought us to the factory outlet before returning us to our hotel! Thank you so much for looking after us so well Moby and Enkhtur!

Finally met expectations. Go with a different company. - Tour minimally met expectations. All the boxes were checked/ though we had to ask. Guide was on the phone as soon as we were picked up. He apologized and said he was the general manager and didn’t usually do tours. You would think he would be the best. Not so. Billy you might be a great GM but a big fail as a guide. He was on the phone constantly. We felt like we were an inconvenience to his busy day. He would answer any questions but offered very little else. Never mentioned any of the optional activities specified in the itinerary. Even though we told him we didn’t need to go see the giant metal statue of Chinggis- opening up additional time for optional activities. Optional activities had 60 minutes on the itinerary we had to ask about the cashmere factory store and he was surprised that was even an option- had to show him the itinerary. Very disappointing and would highly recommend going with a different company.
