Khugnu Tarna - Experience the hospitality of a local nomadic family in the Khugnu Khaan Natural Reserve and Elsen Tasarhai. Guests are invited to stay with a herder family in the heart of the Mongolian steppe, participating in daily activities such as milking animals, cooking, gathering dung, caring for the herd, rounding up animals, and horseback riding. Enjoy the sight of animals grazing in the lush green valley. Hosts will serve authentic Mongolian herder meals, including homemade yogurts and traditional milk and cheese products. After dinner, guests can engage in a traditional Mongolian game using ankle bones with the nomads.
Genghis Khan Statue Complex - The Genghis Khan Statue Complex is the largest equestrian statue in the world. Inside, there is a restaurant, souvenir shop, two museums, and a conference hall. Visitors can ascend to the horse’s head via elevator or stairs to enjoy a panoramic view of the stunning landscape.
Kharkhorin Ancient Capital City
Kharakhorum Museum - Kharkhorin, a small town in Uvurkhangai Province, Mongolia, had a population of 8,977 in 2003 and spans an area of 20.5 km². Situated in the upper valley of the Orkhon River, it is part of UNESCO’s World Heritage Site, the Orkhon Valley Cultural Landscape. Nearby lie the ruins of the ancient town of Karakorum, once the capital of the Mongol Empire under Ogedei Khan. Visitors can explore the “Erdenezuu” monastery, discovering tombs, a temple, and an authentic Buddhist temple. Accommodation is provided in a town ger hostel. After dinner at a tourist camp, guests can enjoy free time hiking or exploring the town.

Hustai National Park - En route to Ulaanbaatar, a stop at Hustai National Park is a must. Known for being home to the Przewalski wild horses, or “Takhi” in Mongolian, these are the last and only breed of wild horses in the world. Since their reintroduction, the park now hosts around 300 wild horses. The park is also home to 46 mammals, 172 birds, 2 amphibians, 3 reptiles, 16 fish, and over 289 insect species. Visitors can see the Takhi, the Asian wild horse, and may also spot wolves, argali sheep, and deer.
