- Zelve Open Air Museum - Cappadocia is a remarkable destination filled with wonders. Among the many attractions, the Zelve Open Air Museum stands out. Located near Pasabag Monks Valley between Avanos and Goreme, Zelve Valley is one of Cappadocia’s most renowned outdoor museums and a UNESCO World Heritage Site, where visitors can admire the sharp, pointed fairy chimneys.
- Pasabag - Known for its three-headed fairy chimneys, Pasabag, or the Pasha’s Vineyard, is surrounded by extraordinary natural rock formations, offering a spectacular view.
- Avanos - Enjoy a one-hour lunch at a popular local restaurant. The meal begins with soup, followed by a self-service buffet.
- Kapadokya Seramik - Since 2000 BC, the Hittites have utilized the red clays (terra rosa) from the Kızılırmak River, Turkey’s longest river, and white clays (kaolin) from volcanic hills. These clays were shaped by hand on spinning wheels for daily use.
- Devrent Valley - The ruins at Devrent are spread across three valleys, featuring several pointed fairy chimneys with large stems.
- Sentez Avanos Hali - Rug Workshop & Store - Each carpet, with its intricate patterns, conveys messages, beliefs, and symbols. These patterns represent emotions, desires, or wishes, with each carpet telling a living history from ancient times to the present, where women have meticulously woven their joys and sorrows into beautiful codes and magical letters.
- Goreme Panorama - On the second day, guests will be picked up from their hotel at 9:30 am, with the first stop being Göreme Panorama. Here, visitors will learn about the history and formation of Cappadocia while admiring the fairy chimneys, followed by free time for photography.
- Derinkuyu Underground City - After a 40-minute drive, guests will arrive at the Underground City. Initially used by locals as a natural deep freeze, it later served as a shelter for the late Romans against potential Arabian invasions. With detailed explanations from the guide, visitors will spend about an hour exploring.
- Ihlara Valley - Located 52 km from Derinkuyu Underground City, Ihlara Canyon is reached after approximately 45 minutes. Formed by volcanic activity from Mt. Hasan and erosion by the Melendiz River, the 80-meter-deep canyon stretches 14 km. Historically, Christians inhabited parts of the valley, carving and painting churches. Visitors will hike about 3.5 km, taking 1 hour and 15 minutes, before arriving at a restaurant for lunch.
- Aslan Restaurant - Enjoy a one-hour lunch in the valley, next to the river. The meal starts with soup and salad, followed by a choice of main dishes, and concludes with seasonal fruits.
- Selime Monastery - The tour continues to the cinematic Selime Monastery. Although it resembles a castle, the monastery includes shelters, churches, chapels, bedrooms, storages, and a large cathedral, showcasing its monastic nature. Visitors will learn about monastic life in Cappadocia.
- Pigeon Valley - After the climb to Selime Monastery, guests will have about an hour to rest before reaching Pigeon Valley. During the journey, the guide will share traditions, cultures, and stories about Anatolia. Upon arrival, visitors will be greeted by pigeons at the top of the valley. Pigeons have been significant to the people of Cappadocia, with their eggs and droppings used for various purposes. Locals carved pigeon houses into the valley slopes, which visitors will see firsthand.
- Kapadokya El Sanatları Merkezi - The final stop on the tour is a visit to an onyx factory in Uchisar. Onyx, a volcanic stone with various colors and minerals, is found in Cappadocia due to its volcanic nature. At the factory, a master will explain the onyx shaping process and demonstrate a shaping show.

Incredible Cappadocia Adventure with Excellent Service - Great arrangement by Stoneland Turkey Travel! From the hotel pickup in Istanbul to the airport, flights, and car booking from Istanbul to Cappadocia, everything went so smoothly, thanks to the owner Mehmet and his team. We were lucky that the weather was good, allowing us to ride in the hot air balloon. It was an incredible experience!
We joined the Red and Green Tours. Both tour guides, Selim and Merve, were very friendly and experienced. Merve, in particular, was extremely knowledgeable and informative regarding the background and history of the area. Selim, with his good sense of humour, made the tour more fun and interesting.
Staying at the Hira Cave Hotel was delightful. The view from the hotel roof top was breathtaking, and it was clean and convenient. I highly recommend anyone visiting Cappadocia to stay at this hotel and book with Stoneland Turkey Travel, a very responsible and efficient agency.

Selim is your man in Cappadocia! - We spent 2 days with Selim, our guide, and his driver and we had the best time ever.
Not the typical, teacher-like guide you are used to. On the contrary, a down-to-earth, intelligent, witty man that would make most western guides look like a fool when it comes to how to treat tourists and how to manage with different characters/backgrounds.
The 2 tours explore different parts of the wider Cappadocia region and if you book both of them, you have practically seen all attractions.
If you are lucky to hop on a non-crowded tour, which was the case for the red tour for us, you "ll enjoy it more. The green tour was fully booked and due to the lack of respect of some people, the schedule was derailed. Again, Selim saved the day. He expedited the hiking part of the tour to make sure we had time for a coffee and ... shopping break. Win-Win situation for tourists and local merchandisers 😉😉
Would I reccomend the 2 tours? Absolutely. We enjoyed ourselves, we learned new staff and we did not feel bored or tired. Cappadocia is an amazing place but hard to navigate on your own. This travel agency made it easy for us!!

Cappadocia Red and Green tour review March 24 👏 - Doing both the red and green tours gives you a real insight into the amazing history and sites of Cappadocia. Our guide Selim was friendly, knowledgeable and we really enjoyed both the days he hosted for us. Thank you Selim.
The meals on both days were both good and provided in nice settings. Lunch by the river on the green tour was very nice.
There is some walking involved on both trips so wear comfortable layered clothing.
Both tours are quite different and if you have the time I recommend you do both.
Communication with Stoneland via WhatsApp was brilliant from the moment we booked and all the services they provided were on time, of a high standard and I believe offered good value. Thank you Stoneland.

Tour guides are very good with their job as well. I highly commend SALIM and BERK for doing their job really well. They are very knowledgable with excellent english speaking skills and with good sense of humour. The entire was not boring and that I think is the most important.
Highly commend these people and the entire agency.
Thank you so much

A trip to Turkey is a trip to uplift the realm. Almost all the local Turks were hospitable, and the famous sights didn't feel the bullying. At first, they were instinctively wary, but then they gave me a feeling of pacing the gentleman's belly with the heart of a little man. In short, a trip to Turkey was amazing and unforgettable. - It's no exaggeration that my trip to Turkey was an uplifting one, from Izmir to Fethiye to Antalya and finally to Cappadocia, where the enthusiastic Turks surprised me along the way. For two days in Cappadocia, two regiments of the Green Line and the Red Line were enrolled, and the Red Line's guide Selim the next day.
Ayaş found it worthy of 5 star acclaim, with plenty of experience and humor, and explained the history of various caves and landscapes in a laugh that amused the entire car crew. After the parting, I regret forgetting to tip him. After all, we Chinese are not used to tipping. The last stop was a souvenir shop, and he volunteered, 'If you're not interested, don't go in the car. How can such a guide not love it?' Cappadocia will definitely visit again with her future girlfriend, hoping to meet Selim Ayaş Haha.

Good way to cover Cappadocia in 2 days - Good tour and services. Everything they mentioned in the package was well covered. The guide could have been a bit more elaborative like with other agencies by sharing videos / pics to explain history. Overall it was quite good

Cappadocia - We took two circuits: red and green. All in all, everything was perfect except that on the second day (second circuit), my spouse had a sprained ankle. Unfortunately, no assistance had been received from the guide. Fortunately, the group had helped us transport her to the bus. Even the driver did not drop us off at the hotel entrance despite his difficulty in moving. It was unacceptable. We felt abandoned.

Decent tour - On our first day on the Red tour with Berek was very knowledgeable, took his time to answer any questions and provided a relaxed atmosphere. However, on the Green tour the second day we were with an older gentleman who moved at a very fast pace using the tour as a day to exercise. It was hard for anyone in the group to keep up with him while trying to learn about the sites.
