Kampala Murchison Falls

Murchison Falls National Park - In the morning, between 7:00 am and 10:00 am, the journey to the park will commence. The drive from Kampala takes about 5 to 6 hours, with a stop for lunch along the way. After lunch, the trip continues to the park for the first activity of the day—a hike to the top of the falls. This hike, depending on walking speed, takes approximately 30 to 50 minutes and provides an opportunity to view the renowned falls from above.

Following the hike, there will be a drive to the park’s savannah area for a brief evening game drive. Weather permitting, a sunset game drive will offer the chance to see stunning mammals and other wildlife in the park.

After the game drive, check-in at the lodge for an overnight stay will follow.

Game Drive and Boat Cruise

Murchison Falls National Park - In the morning, at 6:00 am, enjoy coffee or tea before heading to the park for a morning game drive and boat trip. A packed breakfast will be provided, which can be enjoyed during a break at the hippo pool.

During the game drive, various animals can be seen, including big cats like lions and leopards, as well as elephants, giraffes, and buffaloes.

After the boat trip, the journey will continue out of the park to the second accommodation. There, the evening can be spent relaxing by the pool or sharing experiences with family and friends.

Rhino Tracking

Rhino Fund Uganda - At 8:00 am, after breakfast, check-out from the rooms will occur, and the drive to Ziwa for rhino tracking will begin. Upon arrival at the sanctuary, a briefing about rhinos will be provided. Following the briefing, the tracking experience will commence, lasting approximately two hours.

After tracking, the journey to Kampala will continue, with a stop for lunch along the way. Upon arrival at the lodge in Kampala, the Murchison and rhino tracking experience will conclude.
