Murchison Falls National Park - Today, the driver guide will meet you at Entebbe International Airport for a 5-6 hour journey to Murchison Falls National Park in Masindi District. Along the way, there is an optional stop at Ziwa Sanctuary for an enriching one-hour Rhino tracking experience. The sanctuary has recently welcomed a new birth, making it an ideal time to visit. This activity incurs an additional cost of $50 per person (not included in the total price). Enjoy a lunch break before continuing the drive to the park, taking in the stunning views of plantations, hills, and bustling towns. Check into the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
Game Drive and Boat Cruise
Murchison Falls National Park - After an early breakfast at the lodge, cross to the northern sector if you stayed in the south for an exciting 3-4 hour game drive through various territories. While spotting the big cats is not guaranteed, the ranger guide will help identify the unique flora and fauna, including notable mammals and primates such as baboons and monkeys. You’ll also see numerous birds like Egyptian geese and guinea fowls, along with unique plants. Enjoy a delightful bush breakfast in the wild before returning to the lodge for lunch. This is followed by a 2-3 hour boat cruise to view the spectacular Murchison Falls, the world’s most powerful waterfalls, where a permanent rainbow appears when the sun shines. During the cruise, enjoy the refreshing breeze, capture photos, and observe Nile crocodiles, hippos, and various aquatic birds. After the boat cruise, return to the lodge for dinner and a restful sleep.
